This pack aims to make Minecraft harder, while also trying to be as fair as possible. I tried to stay close to vanilla when it comes to feel and progression, but this isn't a small modpack and there's a lot of new things to do. You'll craft many of the same items and fight a lot of the same mobs. The worldgen will feel familiar, and yet new. None of the mods are neccessary to progress, they're just tools to use as you want. The focus of the pack is exploration and combat. Some fights you'll have to run from, there's no shame in that. Some fights you might win purely because of dumb luck, and sometimes you'll die because of really bad luck. I guess to me that's just how Minecraft is ment to be.

Unless you follow the 1.16 modding scene as closely as I do I can guarantee there's mods here you haven't heard of before, and there's most definetly mods here that have become mainstays in 1.12+ modpacks. I want to showcase small mods that have a lot of potential. The modlist is heavily curated, even though the list might seem long it's not meant to be a kitchensink styled pack. As much as possible I've tried to choose mods that compliment each other aswell as mods that enhance the vanilla experience. There's no tech here, at least not in the typical sense. Some of my favorite mods have been cut for power reasons and others because I just didn't feel like they fit. I've considered almost every mod with more than 100k downloads and this is the final list, I hope you'll enjoy it!

This modpack contains Survive, a mod that impliments some new survival mechanics to Minecraft, mainly thirst and temperature. The sleep/energy mechanic of the mod is disabled for convenience sake. Multiple non-vanilla, non-survive drinks have been altered to replenish thirst and some do it much better than normal water, with additional effects. The modpack also contains Serene Seasons which might force you to move to a different biome for a season och prepare for harsher weather. (If you intend to play this on a singleplayer world I highly suggest changing the length of a season since it's currently modified for serverplay where each season will last three real life days, or 216 Minecraft days.)
Other than that I recommend going in blind, and play on Hard difficulty! (Or Hardcore if you really want to suffer) If you want to know exactly what you're in for the modlist is down below.
