"My analysis of historical data suggests an 97.34% probability that you are aware of my birth on your planet, and my rebirth into beauty on Citadel Station." -System Shock 2
Citadel is a Library mod required for advanced animations and entity properties in 1.14 and beyond. Citadel, being a Library, does not add many features by itself, but rather provides a frame work for other mods when it comes to animating entities, loading .tbl Tabula and .obj Waveront models, and for keeping track of entity properties. Citadel's predecessor, LLibrary, will no longer be updated from 1.12.2, and from now on all of my mods will use Citadel. Citadel's code base is largely derived from LLibrary, and the code is used with permission from Gegy1000, the maintainer of LLibrary and its author in recent versions.
In versions 1.6.3 and above, there is also a config option for changing the cap on how many mobs spawn on chunk generation. This is useful when used with the many mob mods that require Citadel, as without changing this they can make it quite difficult to find vanilla mobs.
Developers who want to use Citadel can read the guide on how to add it to their development environment.
I cant open any old worlds with citadel and Alexs Mobs in my game and I think its citadel thats causing the issue.
This is the crash report https://pastebin.com/GB0SL8H9
Is there something I can do to fix it? Thanks in advance.
I'm not sure if it's a citadel problem or an Alex's Mobs problem so I'm putting it on both pages, if you run Alex's mobs and therefor this dependency lib with it, SEUS Shaders renders lava as water. Only with Alex's mobs running, and only with SEUS Shaders so far I've noticed. The reason I'm posting here is cause I've gone through all the files for Alex's mobs and there shouldn't be any files messing with the lava, so assumedly it's something alex's mobs is loading through citadel causing the issue, so possibly citadel loading something is swapping the textures of things it's not supposed to when being called on. If it's not citadel at all, I apologize in advance, thanks for your time!
is there a 1.12.2 version? I want to use Ice and Fire for that minecraft version but there isn't a version I can download here....
In reply to geekyraptor:
Ice and Fire doesn’t use Citadel in 1.12.2, it uses LLibrary instead: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/llibrary
I uh..can't get the 1.19 ver to work, so with the Alex's mob's mod. If there a way t fix this?
For everyone having issues finding 1.16.5 go to files tab and hit the VIEW ALL tab directly right of Recent Files.
In reply to pocketbone:
TYSM
None of the files are compatible with 1.16.5
In reply to JalGhul:
Yes, of course there are files for 1.16.5. That was the version this mod has been the most popular in, with over nine million downloads on the most recent 1.16.5 release alone. Multiple mods in 1.16.5 use it, too, so it’s obviously available for that version. You do have to go into the files tab to find them, though, since Curseforge only shows the most recent three Minecraft versions, and since Citadel updated to 1.19 it no longer shows 1.16 on the main page.
I have a problem you dont have 1.16.5 for ice and fire and i cant dowload a language provider
In reply to cickeny:
I don’t understand the problem. Just download the 1.16.5 version from the files tab and Ice and Fire will work as expected.
In reply to SpinHarmony:
sorry i forget about that its been a long time since i used curseforge
how do i delete this
Do you allow people to use this in mod packs (with credit ofc)?
In reply to Frostbyte1118:
All curseforge packs can use all curseforge mods.
The most recent version of this mod is causing hard crashes before loading even starts on 1.18.2. Reported error suggests that the JDK libraries are out of date (which they aren't on my end).
I wish we could see a fabric version, or a universal library to ease mod developers lives when it comes to porting.
i'm having issues with the 1.16.5 (1.8.1) version. the crash log says "Citadel has class loading errors; java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:"
nvm it fixed itself
In reply to 0witherstorm:
How did you fix it, I’m having the same problem
In reply to yuiakostime:
just downloaded another version of citadel
