This mod changes the way that Wither Skeletons behave. In vanilla, there are numerous issues with their spawning, their drops, and it is generally regarded as a chore to grind for skulls. This seeks to remedy that by doing a few things.
1) Adding a wither skull fragment to the drop tables. The fragments can be crafted together to create a wither skeleton skull.
2) All skeleton spawns in the nether are changed to be wither skeletons. Vanilla randomly decides if a skeleton will be wither or not, which is frustrating. This makes all skeletons spawned turn into wither skeletons, as long as they are in a Hell biome.
3) Stone swords and bows are removed from the drop tables of wither skeletons. No more annoying filters for dealing with them.
4) The immolation blade is also added, which will cause all skeletons to always drop wither skeleton skulls.
The configuration file allows users to edit every aspect of the mod.

Hi I was wondering if you could add an enchament to the bow that aplies wither effect so the wskeletons arrows dont set on fire the player but give them the w effect. I think it oculd fit the style of the mods. Thx for reading great mod btw

Would it be possible to make the drops JEI/JER compatible so they can be found in the loot table?
I also ran into some options that might be useful...
Being able to set the numerator for fragment drops (unless floats can be made allowed) would also be helpful as the minimum resolution right now for 1/n is 1/2 or 50% which is a significant buff, I'd like to be able to do 75-80% or something.

found an issue with normal skeleton in overworld they wont drop any bows... removing this mod fixed normal skeleton drops

Its part of the feature that removes junk drops from skeletons, its configurable

Why? Just remove the recipes with any sort of recipe modifier tool.

Imo being a tweak mod there's a good chance some users aren't really interested in the sword, it seems more like an accessory addition. Also, setting the swords to false is much faster than removing a JEI reference and recipe. If this was the logic of every tweak mod, and don't get me wrong plenty don't allow disabling items, they become much more exhausting to configure. So I think taking a step towards simplicity is a beneficial change in general vs not because it perhaps isn't the status quo.
I imagine it doesn't have much value to you, but it does simplify things, so I don't see why not?

the crafting skulls isnt working for 1.15
Would this affect skeleton spawns in the soulsand valley in the Nether Update?

Uh, probably? It automatically replaces any spawned skeletons in the nether with wither skeletons, unless its an unnatural spawn.
I'd love to see this make it to 1.16.1, either way amazing work so far, keep up the awesome work!

You should add wither bones, and you can make like wither bone meal that kills crops, and make black dye with the bone meal

What is the difference between the immolation blade and the blazing immolation blade? is it purely cosmetic?
