Another modpack for my friends, but with a twist

Description

Back in April of 2020, we created the modpack known as CornCraft, which was just meant to be a modpack for our friends to play while we're stuck at home during the pandemic. However, the modpack proved to be quite a learning experience in managing servers and balancing modpacks as it became quite the challenge trying to keep the modpack a fun experience without making it too frustratingly laggy for those with low-end PC's. Eventually, we decided to start closing off CornCraft 1, and begin on a new project.

 

Introducing CornCraft 2: Danger Days, a modpack with a somewhat post-apocalyptic feel and mods that both add a lot to the Minecraft experience and give new challenges to the player. Some mods we have, like Aquatic OdysseyLost Cities, and Biomes O'Plenty add a lot of new features in the world to explore so that players will have a blast discovering new biomes and structures throughout their world without getting bored of seeing the same old vanilla biomes over and over again. Mods like SquakeWall-Jump, and Advanced Hook Launchers were added in order to add more variety to the movement in the game than just sprint-jumping and swimming while still being challenging enough that you can't just press a button to climb a building or something. Speaking of challenges, we have quite a few mods to make this pack more dangerous than the previous one. We've got Infernal mobs to make you think twice before attacking that zombie, Raiders to add a little bit of pvp even in singleplayer worlds, Spice of Life to keep you from depending on the same food source throughout your playthrough, and even Lost souls haunting some buildings in cities with lots of loot. But perhaps the most challenging mod is Bionisation 3 which adds virus and other infections to the game, so you best stay safe throughout your playthrough.

 

*WARNING: DO NOT USE SHADERS YET*

*Shaders seem to cause crashes with LittleTiles or something that I have yet to fix*
