I'm posting this on all of my projects as a notification as to where updates have been over the past while - I appreciate your patience and if anyone is interested in assisting me with updates going forward please feel free to contact me.


Fortunately for me and unfortunately for my projects I've recently gotten a new job, this has taken much more of my time than I had initially anticipated and has made it difficult for me to juggle all of my projects as well as my job at the same time. Please know that I am not stopping development by any means, things have just slowed down by a considerable amount.


You can see the status of my updates on the github pages associated with each project linked on their respective curseforge page, most of my effort as of late has been focused on ArchitectureCraft as its codebase is the one that needs the most changes. The reason every build of ArchitectureCraft has been listed as an alpha is due to the codebase and less the stability of the project - there's a lot of changes that can be made internally that will greatly improve performance, readability, and just plain make it easier to update in the future.


Davincis Vessels is my second most popular mod and it's second up on my list. MovingWorld - the library that Davincis Vessels uses to manage vessels internally has needed some substantial changes. I've also used this updates as an opportunity to overhaul a lot of its codebase as well, you should see noticeable improvements in stability after these updates are released. In particular for Davincis Vessels the ship hitbox will rotate properly and the ships should stop clipping into objects at random.

Q: Will you make it possible for me to walk on moving ships?

A: The chances are low, if it does happen it will not be very soon, it's a large amount of work to hook into minecraft's collision system and tell it to behave differently just for me.

Q: Working blocks on ships?

A: Yes, eventually but they will be limited, and you will need to tell the mod which ones work in the config file. For example, you wouldn't want buildcraft quarries working by default because that's not a good idea, but you would want engines working because that's awesome.

Q: What's MovingWorld?

A: A dependency that stores information on how to build ships as well as render them, it's important. DV will not work without it!

Q: How big can I make a ship?

A: 2048 blocks is the default max, this can be configured.

Q: Does it work with *MOD HERE*?

A: It should, but I can't guarantee anything, if in doubt make a test world, check if it works. If it does, great! If it doesn't, make a bug report.

Q: How do I install?

A: First install the latest version of forge, then install the latest builds of both MovingWorld, and DV
