StepUp allows you to walk up one block height without jumping.
This is a client sided mod.
It works on both Singleplayer and Multiplayer servers. Press "H" to switch between modes in-game. The key-bind can be changed in the controls menu.
StepUp for Minecraft 1.10+ allows the player to cycle through 3 auto jump options using the StepUp keybind.
1. StepUp Activated
2. StepUp Deactivated
3. Vanilla Auto Jump
StepUp 1.14.4+
1. The default key-binding has been changed to "H" key to not get in the way of Journey Map key-binding

Fix for 1.16.3:
There are common simple fixes for older mods - check & understand the type of license chosen for each mod beforehand though, I'm not a lawyer. I'll just post the info here - what you do with it is up to you.
This can fix the following 3 loading errors:
1. incorrect mc version;
2. incorrect forge version (sometimes a newer forge is required which will make other mods fail or will crash the game entirely);
3. requires licence info.
To fix these errors:
1. unzip/decompress the [ModFileName].jar file
2. edit the mods.toml file in the META-INF folder - its a simple text file
3a. replace the mc/forge version with the required version (&/or);
3b. add ONE of the following lines (or edit it to match the mods license info displayed under the "About Project" info in the top right):
license="All rights reserved"
license="Public Domain"
license="MIT"
(etc, including the double quote marks; you may need BOTH steps)
4. save the mods.toml
5. zip/compress the files & folders into a 'zip' format {ie. not arj, rar, arc, etc}
6. rename the [ModFileName].zip file to a [ModFileName].jar file
7. put the new jar file into your mods folder & delete/move/backup the original mod file
8. start mc
It may seem difficult but its not. If you're not used to zip files you may need to make sure that the zip file you created did not include the 'root' or 'parent' folder, but thats a simple fix.

Wow, that's great info, i never bothered to check how they get version info. From what i understood you needed to recompile the mod for the new versions, hence not something you can manually edit from the final mod. This sounds awfully similar to updating factorio mods, heh.
In reply to Forge_User_47062324:
HAHA! FACTORIO - thats how I learned about mods, which then gave me motivation to try the same on mc mods!!!

I don’t understand the part of step 3b. Can you explain it a little bit more clearly? (Google Translate)
In reply to 客串討論版的戰士: I will use 'spoiler' to make smaller post:

# A version range to match for said mod loader - for regular FML @Mod it will be the forge version
loaderVersion="[32,)" #mandatory (32 is current forge version)
# A URL to refer people to when problems occur with this mod

came here to post the same thing, added a License and it works on 1.16.4 as well
1.16.3? pls
Is the mod abandoned?
In reply to Forge_User_47062324:
No, I have other projects and work I'm juggling.
Can you update this to
1.16.21.16.3?is this step up or just auto jump??? Because I know auto jump is diffrent from auto step up. Auto jump will destroy farmland, increases hieght 1 block, while auto step up just like walking just elevating into a block and will NOT destroy farmland. Thats why I believe why peaple hates auto jump.
In reply to ewoe95:
This is auto step up. It doesn't destroy farmland.
That video sold me on it before it was even over. Great mod and great mod reviewer. Thanks!
Nice QOL mod! One improvement suggestion though: can you add a config feature for specifying certain blocks that the mod registers as full blocks? For example, many people plant cacti on blocks of sand and sweet berry bushes on blocks of dirt to prevent taking damage from them, but StepUp makes me hit my elevated plantations all the time.
