Well, the mod needed to be rewritten from scratch, as well as the library mod. Progress is going well, I plan to have an alpha build out in the next couple weeks, but no promises. Initial builds will have some blocks and items missing, they will be added over time. If you have something you'd like to request be in the first alpha build, let me know.
Wouldn't we all :) I've started to hit roadblocks so progress has slowed down, once I fix the world corruption bugs I will release a alpha build >.>. I won't rush this :)
You can help by telling me which other mods you want to be ported :) I currently have a list of about 30ish so the chances of me porting what you want at some point is quite high. Don't forget I can only port mods that have a license that allows it :)
Sorry I have a list of mods that I think deserve to be ported to new versions of mc -Magic crusade RPG mod -Jewelrycraft 2 -WTF's Expedition: CaveBiomes, Ores, Trees, and Tweaks (1.7 the generation of caves from the entrance is very beautiful and pleasant to vanilla) -Falling Meteors Mod -Necromancy
I will take a look at some point, but my main priority is porting this mod. Real life has become super busy, so I am unsure on when I will be able to get to porting the mods you listed, let alone finishing porting OpenBlocks.
I would love to get the Luggage mob/item/tool/pet/thingamabob, as well as the charged version, they were funny and awesome. Maybe with the ability to set a "home" point and a defined partol area so they could be used kind of like a hopper minecart?

Okay, someone who uses this mod, tell me, is it good? because this desc isn't that helpful, no offence to the creator of course
What if there were glasses that show where the stronger thermal stuff is so that you could plan how to fly somewhere?
It's kinda annoying/hard to try to figure out where to stay near to get higher and to try to stay near it.

Can't port Thaumcraft because of the license, it doesn't allow it. As for tinkers, if you look at the github they are already porting to 1.16 :)
