This mod brings a corpse into the game. It will spawn upon your death containing all items that you had in your inventory.
Features
The corpse will appear at the players location upon death. Your player skin will be applied to the corpse. It contains all the items you had when you died. It can hold an infinite amount of items.
You can access the items by right-clicking the corpse.
When you take out all items, the corpse will disappear. The corpse can't fall into the void or burn in lava.
After 1 hour, the corpse will turn into a skeleton, indicating that it existed for a longer time. This won't change the functionality of the corpse.
You get all your items back into their original slots when transferring the items.
Death History
You can view all your past deaths by pressing the 'U' key. You can retrieve lost items if you are in creative mode.
Viewing the Death Hisory of other Players
By typing /deathhistory <player>
as an operator, you can view the death history of another player.
Recovering Lost Items
You can retrieve lost items by pressing the "Items" button in the death history GUI. Note that you can only take out items if you are in creative mode.
Teleporting to the Death Location
By clicking on the "Location" area in the death history GUI, the command to teleport you to the death location will be displayed in chat. It includes the coordinates and the dimension.
Optional Features (Config options)
- If only the owner of the corpse can access the inventory
- If everybody can access the corpse in the skeleton stage
- The time passed after a corpse despawns if it is empty
- The time passed after a corpse despawns even if it is full
- The time passed after a corpse turns into a skeleton
- If the corpse should spawn on its face
Hey, i was wondering what the entity name would be for the corpse itself? I'm trying to add compatibility with the CarryOn mod so that a person could pick up the corpse and move it .
In reply to Dirue101:
corpse:corpse
Can this mod work server-side? Also, does it depend on anything else?
In reply to NosthrendTyrande:
You need to have it installed on the server and the client. No it has no dependencies.
Thanks!
i cant find the config file in the 1.16.4 version, is that normal?
In reply to ElRusso___:
Read the FAQ
I Wish the 1.12.2 version had the transfer interface - its exactly what one of my friends requested. Currently looking to see if i can make Quark do it somehow
In reply to Willobe:
I was able to get something working like that with Quark by adding "de.maxhenkel.corpse.gui.GUICorpse" to their Force GUI option for chest buttons - still not as nice as being able to hit transfer and put all the items where they were before though.
In reply to Willobe:
I'm sorry, but I am only putting new features in the latest two major minecraft versions.
bitte neue 1.12.2 version
In reply to gamercoolghg:
Wieso neu?
In reply to henkelmax:
weil es nur die 1.12.2-1.0.8 gibt und nicht die 1.12.2-1.0.10
In reply to gamercoolghg:
1.0.8 ist die neuste 1.12.2 version
Your mods are so nice. I rly enjoy playing them.
One suggestion (i had a similar one :))
After the corpse transform to a skelet, he could tranform again in a gravestone after a while.
And entity corpse would be amazing. It would feel like real rpg.
Is there a way to turn off the skeleton? Also, how do I make it sink underwater? (I'm on 1.16 btw)
In reply to ornageyams:
Just set the skeleton time to a very high value in the config. It always floats.
it doesnt show the armor on the corpse im using the 1.12.2 version
In reply to adlerMan12:
It was added in 1.15 I think.
I just installed this today (Minecraft 1.16.4 Java and the latest version of the mod and forge) and it works well. However, there is no configuration file in AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/config as per the FAQ. Any idea where it might otherwise be? Or why it's missing?
