Fantasy Nightmares is a modpack focusing on rough gameplay and nightmarish things.
In this modpack, you have to manage a lot of different mechanisms, such as temperature or thirst. Build your base, create powerful weapons and survive in this dangerous world, populated by horrifying monsters.

Fantasy nightmares aims at giving the player a hard and vaste experience, with a lot of end game content. The level system allows a nice and smooth progession system to make the player experience better scaled. This modpack tries to give a unique experience with exclusive features and a lot of mod compatiblites.
Tips
-Don't spend too much time thinking about how you will survive ; just do it. Once the moon rises, it is already too late to make a base.
-Spend your xp wisely and don't upgrade skills you don't need ; each skill has its own purpose.
-Attack allows you to use better weapons
-Defense allows you to wear better amors
-Agility allows you to use useful things such as backpacks or bows
-Mining allows you to use better pickaxes
-Gathering allows you to use better tools
-Farming allows you to use better hoes but also everything that comes with animal breeding
-Building allows you to use more complexe blocs such as anvils, enchanting tables and more
-Magic allows you to use... Well... Magic stuff
-You can't heal naturally ; you should kill Yales to get wool, and then use this wool to craft plaster or bandages. Beds can also heal you !
-Dealing with temperature might be hard ; some armors grants you better protection against cold or heat ! Some armor sets even neutralize it completly.
-Be ready to die a lot.
-A safe house is better than a pretty house ! Safety is key !
-If you find a bounty board in a village (or craft one) use it to get quests and useful items as a reward !
-Don't stay near dragons. Like, really.
-Uh, don't die ?
How did Fantasy Nightmares came to be ?
I've always made a lot of modpacks during my free time, but never published a single one. I usually use them to play with my friends on a private server.
Fantasy Nightmares was both inspired by a private modpack I did and RLCraft by Shivaxi (RLCraft - Modpacks - Minecraft - CurseForge)
(Even tho it was inspired by RLCraft I did everything from scratch using config files and scripts).
After playing a bit with Fantasy Nightmares my friends told me that I should try and publish it ; so here I am !
What are you planning to add in the future ?
Obviously, I plan on balancing things if they are too easy or too hard. I don't plan on adding new mods for the moment, but if you want to see one of your favorite mod in this modpack, you can suggest it in the comments or on our discord (link down below). The thing I really want to add is more structures ; mostly huge dungeons with custom bosses and loots. Ah, and also bug fixing.
