First Aid is a game changing mod focused around a new health system.
HEALTH SYSTEM:
The old health bar got replaced by 8 different health regions, so your Head, Body, Legs and Feet have their own health bar.
This mod disables vanilla health regeneration by default. This effect stays even if you remove the mod. It can be changed in the config or by typing /gamerule naturalRegeneration true.
Healing can be done by using bandages or plaster. When you right click them in your inventory, you get a GUI where you can choose where you want to apply it.
You will die as soon as your head or body health drop to zero.
DEBUFFS:
Certain debuffs may apply when your limbs get damaged, so when e.g. your feet get damaged, you will get a constant slowness debuff, or when your head gets hit servere enough, blindness and/or nausea will apply for a short time.
All debuffs can be supressed by morphine. When you take morphine, no health debuffs will apply while it is active, but as soon as the effect runs out, your constant debuffs will reappear.
ARMOR:
Armor calculation has also been changed: If your legs get hit, only the armor of your legs will be taken into account.
But because the armor value of a typical helmet is much lower than a chestplate, these values get multiplied with a factor
So armor for your head and body are very important if you want to survive.
Since version 1.3.0, this mod uses a sound from this website. It is licensed under the Attribution 3.0 license.

I think there should be a part where if you take enough damage in the body area, you should fall to the floor and have a timer where you slowly bleedout. You can then choose to give up or pick yourself up within about a minute. There would then be a cooldown for a few minutes or so as to not make this overpowered. (This can be modified in the config if you wish for it to be easier.)
That's just an idea that i'd love to see in this mod. I hope we can have this be a thing.
Is it compatible with RPG-Hud?
So what effect does hunger have on this system?
Why does the mod worke different in RLCraft then in Singelplayer or other modpacks ?

this is an extreme mod this mod makes me fear of zombies i bet no one can defeat wither without an armor nice mod thnx for updating every version :)

Is the a way to configure how much locational armor each armor piece grants? The multiplying factors don't work very well, especially with modded armors.

The mod have incompatibility with Somnia Awoken mod, the life isn't regenerated when i sleep (1.12 version)

I have an issue, i downloaded the latest 1.12 version and everything works fine except one thing, the passive regeneration of vanilla minecraft is not disabled. I've checked the config both in game and in the cfg file and it says it's disabled. Any idea why that happens?
EVERYTHING AIMS FOR THE HEAD. I was expecting a balanced system, where things like zombies and baby zombies would at least go for your chest or arms, but NO. Baby zombies can even headshot!
I dislike the locational damage part, but want everything else. Is it possible to change this in config or something or will I have to delete the mod?
Would be bonkers if a compatibility mod was created to let a Spice of Life: Carrot Edition and Spice of life in general work with this mod.
Since every time you eat 5 new types of food, you gain 2 hearts. But when you have First aid installed, it doesn't give you any hearts. Would be nice... Probably never going to happen though.
Requesting changes to make 3 bandanes and 5 plasters for craft's result. It's too much to waste 2 cubic meter of wool to one small plast of small healing.
