This project is a fork of Greymerk's masterpiece.

What's different?
- Automatically injects modded loot.
- Dungeon settings can be organised in nested directories.
- More control over what spawns on a per-room basis.
- Actively in development.
- Currently developing for 1.14.
Notes
- Compatible with Biomes O' Plenty (BOP)
- Compatible with Open Terrain Generator (OTG)
Is this compatible with ancient warfare 2/megaloot/randomloot mods?
I haven't dived too deep into the config process for this mod, before I do though; Is there any way to disable the generation of specific dungeon structures? The ones with brick are a little too gaudy for me, they're very harsh on the eyes.
After looking around in a few dungeon, I find that only one chest par floor max (isn't even guaranteed to be there), in a very specific room, uses a vanilla loot table. No other chest appear to be using a loot table, as evidenced by the lack of any loot from bountiful baubles, Ender IO, or EBWizardry. Some chests are just completely empty. Would it possible to increase the odds of that room spawning in all dungeon types?
In reply to GalloViking:
Hey, sorry for taking so long to respond.
If you hadn't figured it out yet, this mod is highly configurable. You are empowered to configure the loot for the dungeons however you wish. Check the wiki for details and examples, or jump into the Discord server and I can assist you asynchronously when I have time.
In reply to fnardottv:
So how it is "automaticly inject"?... If its need to be configure... The sole reason we wanted to use this...
In reply to PlayOnlyT:
Other mod authors often put their loot into vanilla Minecraft loot tables, in hopes that players will find chests in dungeons, nether fortresses, desert pyramids, End cities, etc.
This fork of the mod utilises vanilla Minecraft loot tables in some chests, such as hallway chests, or reward room chests to tap into those injected modded loot items. Not all chests are swapped to using Minecraft's loot tables to keep the feel of the original Roguelike Dungeons and because, let's be honest, usually vanilla loot is crap, and it's impossible to balance perfectly with modded loot when the mods any given user is running are unguessable.
This fork does a best-guess, but still leaves room for customisation on the end user's side. I'm constantly updating the wiki and providing help in the Discord server.
is there a 1.16.4 version?
In reply to cupcake_0921:
There is not yet a 1.16.4 version.
I think the closest mod I've seen similar to this one for 1.16.4 might be Dungeon Crawl: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/dungeon-crawl
Hi, this mod works on an existing world, or I must create a new world?
Thanks you!
In reply to Forge_User_60112942:
This should work just fine in an existing world.
Only new chunks will be eligible for spawning dungeons.
Depending on your configuration, they will be frequent or rare, with the defaults striking a reasonable balance.
I am maybe blind but i do not finmd any new loot in the dungeons and the config folder settings is empty. So how do i know that the mod is working X).
In reply to Forge_User_09327330:
Are you having any other issues? Are your chests entirely empty, or are you simply not finding any modded loot?
Are you using any configuration files or are you rolling default?
If you aren't using any configuration files (and therefore using the default configurations) you should find modded loot in chests so long as the authors for those mods submitted their "loot" into the vanilla loot tables.
Happy adventuring!
In reply to fnardottv:
I just downloaded the mod again and deleted all config and now it just works. Sry forgot to change my comment. i have no clue why it works now sry.
In reply to Forge_User_09327330:
👍
Glad to hear it "just works." That's exactly why I made this fork.
I think I love you. I lost my mind doing loot tables for the original version
In reply to Forge_User_24013297:
Happy to spare you the pain. Some users are reporting that they aren't finding any modded loot. Are you having this issue?
In reply to fnardottv:
Kind of. Only in some rooms I can find the modded loot. BTW, how should I type the Dimension whitelist?
or separated by spaces?
In reply to Forge_User_24013297:
Sorry for the massive delay in responding.
It's preferable to not have the whitespace between the commas and the values here:
Hope everything works for you !
Hello, is there any way to protect, or to protect the dungeon, so that they cannot break and immediately reach the last floor below, and loot everything?
