An adventure modpack created with a balanced Survival experience in mind! Adds numerous mobs and dungeons, and new dodging mechanics. Find treasure and artifacts through exploring dungeons and battling bosses! This pack is much more challenging than the Vanilla experience, but very rewarding as well!
There are many dimensions to explore, including the spooky Abyss, the desert filled with pyramid dungeons known as the Atum, a beehive!? And...Cows?
Some may remember this as a 1.7.10 modpack in Technic. I had issues getting Forge working in the Technic launcher, so I am now making it here.
FAQ
Please read before asking anything.
Q: What are the main differences between this and the classic one for 1.7.10?
A: A whole lot of differences! Aside from the combat overhaul, there are also some major mods missing such as Invasion, Zelda Sword Skills, and the Uncrafting Table. However there are also new and exciting mods like Atum 2 and dodging! Play whichever you like more.
Q: Resource intensive version?
A: This is the "Resource Intensive" edition. I think it is easier to do more mods first, then remove ones after figuring out which ones are more intensive. Mods being "intensive" are mobs with high quality animations/models/textures, or a lot of processing taken in general. There will be a "Lite" version later.
Q: What mods will be removed in the Lite Edition?
A: Quick list of "intensive" mods that will be removed (so far) is below. Abnormals Core, Chisels and Bits, Dynamic Lights, Feywild, Lycanites Mobs, Mowzie's Mobs, Mutant Beasts, Mining Helmet, The Outer End, The Twilight Forest, Ultra Amplified Dimension.
Q: Lite Edition release window?
A: Once I deem this version stable enough and have a solid base. The current mod list is still subject to change.
Q: I have a suggestion!/I found a bug./My game crashed! What do?
A: All suggestions and bug report go in the issues page. Feel free to suggest any new mods to add. They must be multiplayer compatible, and balanced. (Or have config options to adjust balance.)
Q: What power levels should I look for in mod suggestions?
A: The max power level...Depends. In summary, there should not be a "definitive" modded dimension to go to. All of them should feel rewarding for the effort put in. Furthermore, I think a power level where Lycanite's Mobs are still a decent threat in endgame is good.
Q: 1.7.10 version? Where?
A: That is in the Technic Launcher. Search "Metaknight" and it should come up. "MK's AP" for the resource intensive version. They are both fully functional, just old. I may upload those here too, if people want.

Installation
1. Download a released version from Files page. I recommend the latest Release rather than a Beta. Beta versions are experimental. (Such as extreme balance changes)
2. Import the downloaded zip file into the Curseforge launcher. (The launcher is downloaded here.)
Create custom profile -> import existing -> find the downloaded zip (most likely in downloads) -> import it.
It's that easy! After that you should be able to just run the modpack, all the control settings and config changes will be present.
Config Modifications
ALL Config file changes, in an eventually massive list.
Artifacts
artifacts-common:
*No longer uses modded chest appearances.
*Campsites will no longer spawn in the Moolands and Dimensional Dungeons.
*Chance to spawn a campsite is now 1/10th a chunk instead of 1/12th. (Artifacts should be easier to find now.)
Biomes O Plenty
*biomesoplenty/biomes: All rare biomes increased from spawn weight 1 to spawn weight 2.
*biomesoplenty/client: No longer uses this world type by default.
Backpacker/Backpacked
backpacker-common: Backpacks now are kept on death. Save your most prized possessions!
backpacked-common: All backpacks now hold 1 more row of items, except for the Shulker Pack.

*castle_in_the_sky_common: Distance from (0, 0) before spawning Castles is now 1600 blocks (100 chunks) instead of 10,000 (625 chunks, why?).
D
*dungeonsmod-common: Disabled Haunters from player deaths. We already have ghosts.
*dungeon_crawl: Dungeons are now solid, so caves do not iterfere with them.
F
*feywild-client: Menu screen turned off.
*feywild-server: All Feywild biomes have a spawn rate of 10 instead of 15. (7 to 10 is average for Biomes O Plenty)
I
iceandfire-common:
*Gorgon Temples disabled. The Gorgon head turns one enemy to stone. (Anything, even Rahovart.)
*Dragonsteel Chestplate armor nerfed from 12 to 9 armor. Equivalent to mid-Abyss. Still the strongest Overworld armor.
*Dragonsteel Sword nerfed from 25 to 18 damage. Almost Sword of Abyss level.
*Dragon Bone Ice abilities disabled. Infinitely freezing bosses is busted.
*Dragon wander distance increased to 96. (6 chunks) I find this interesting and fun.
*Disabled Pixie Villages. The pixie dust buffs are OP.
Lycanites Mobs
For some reason LM configs reset in 1.6. I will update this again in 1.7.
lycanitesmobs-common: Whitelisted Overworld, Nether, and Mining Dimension as the only dimensions that Lycanite's Mobs spawn naturally in. This is so that say, Twilight Forest isn't flooded with tree enemies. Peaceful animals will still spawn.
lycanitesmobs-common: Set average Dungeon distance from 40 to 42.
lycanitesmobs-common: mining_dimension:mining is now added to spawn Lycanites Mobs.
Uncommon and Rare variants now do not spawn until day 10.
lycanitesmobs/creatures/volcan: Set base HP to 20.
lycanitesmobs/creatures/X*: Set day minimum to spawn to 5 days.
lycanitesmobs/spawners/crop: Disabled.
lycanitesmobs/spawners/fire: Interval 1200 ticks, 0.8 spawn chance. 4 instead of 8 each spawn wave.
lycanitesmobs/spawners/frostfire: interval 1200 ticks, spawn rate 0.8. 4 instead of 8 each wave.
lycanitesmobs/spawners/lava: Spawn interval adjusted to 1200 ticks, spawn chance adjusted to 0.5. Block cost 16 instead of 8.
lycanitesmobs/spawners/lava_underground: (below y 50) chance 0.2. Rate 1200 ticks.
lycanitesmobs/spawners/ooze: Spawn interval increased to 1200 ticks (1 min), spawn chance adjusted to 0.5.
lycanitesmobs/spawners/portal: Made Portal cooldown 2400 ticks (2 mins), but spawn chance from 0.9 to 1.0.
lycanitesmobs/spawner/tree: Disabled.
lycanitesmobs/creatures/morok: Lowered base health from 120 to 80.
lycanitesmobs/creatures/roc: Lowered spawn weight from 16 to 12.
lycanitesmobs/creatures/ventoraptor: Spawn in groups of 1 at max instead of 3.
lycanitesmobs/spawners/mineshaft: Disabled. Banshees are annoying, and blatantly unfair at say, the start of a Hardcore world.

*Blocks per XP level is now 500.
*Minimum level cost set to 5.

*Waystone to Waystone travel cost multiplier is x0.5 of base XP cost.
*Warp Plate costs x0.5 base cost.

*Warp Stone usage has XP Cost multiplier of 2.0.
