Shield's CozyCraft
V1.2
Just an attempt to make a more chill modpack with some nice features for more causal players, even if playing with more experienced or invested players. Basically none of the mods have been fine-tuned (yet), but the collection of mods themselves have been designed for a wide variety of players. Expect an experience catered to a small/moderately sized group of friends, 2-20 is best. Solo play is also an experience, and a bit less lonely than vanilla.
This pack is not affiliated with anyone or monetized in any way, but please do support the modmakers behind the mods listed below. You are free to do what you will with the pack (provided you follow the license provided), but please read up on the mod owners' pages to see what their distribution permissions are before publishing your own version of this or modifying its content.
Without further ado, here are the credits to this modpack. Please go support their mods:

Made by Snownee_ and mascotted by MalayP. Go send them some love for me pls! I even use Jade for vanilla, just because it's nice to have
Speaking of, Snownee_ also made Lava Clear View with Neubulae as mascot.
JourneyMap: Mod by techbrew, Mysticdrew, and meme_sapiens that I chose to use instead of Xaero's World Map and Xaero's Minimap (by xaero96) this time. Reason for this was that I feel like using a more popular minimap/worldmap is a better idea for this particular pack. Big thanks to the makers of all these mods, make sure to check them all out.
Krypton: A networking optimization by tuxed. Use with Linux for best effect, but should improve overall connectivity and reduce latency

inhales

TECHNICAL NONSENSE:
6-8GB of RAM is recommended, 8 chunks render distance is fine for most mechanics, 12-16 for best experience if you can handle it
Compatible with shaders, I recommend Sildur's or BSL, but none are included by default
During your first launch of the game, it may take a while to boot up and/or update. This necessitated the use of smoothboot, whick will allow you to use your PC while you wait. Be prepared to wait 1-2 minutes with a good setup. Also, don't be scared if your game stutters a couple times while loading the main menu, this is normal. Once close to the end of the loading bar, once while the buttons look like they're about to load. DO NOT ALT-TAB OUT WHILE IT'S STUTTERING, ONLY WHEN ACTIVELY LOADING. Nothing will break, it'll just crash.
Yes I know that illuminations is giving a toast over one of the buttons, Still trying to fix...
Lastly, special thanks also go to some non-curseforge users for being there for me:
TBRWorld, for being the TBR we all neither need nor deserve
gamerinlittlespace, for finally making me do this pack, and being my graphic designer for free for like 10 minutes
Nox, for saying they want to play it with me, making me finally make this pack
Gattillynx and Nymphrodell, for being big brain friends who were there for me
BenVisage, for being legitimately interested in my content
And finally, to you, the person playing this pack. Yes, you. You are the reason I made this. Enjoy
