About:
Vibrant shaders completly revamps the lighting system of minecraft and adds advanced effects like volumetric lighting, bloom, ambient occlusion and reflections. While still maintaining high performance and compatibility with many systems, like mac and intel gpus. It comes in different presets, medium or high should work fine on a gtx 960.

Extreme v1.50VL Performance on Iris + sodium is absolute garbage. Constant lag spikes, basically unplayable. Smooth as butter on Optifine.
Awesome shader very optimized but please make an option to make the water more dark. (not talking about the surface) When you dive deep into the ocean or go inside a cave full with water it looks like you just jumped into a bright blue swimming pool and it totally breaks immersion. I want the deep depths or cave water to be very dark and scary. You can sort of do this with the brightness option but then above the surface will also become very dark :/ please make this an option.
In reply to sparcit:
Idk if we're playing the same mod, because my water is so dark it may as well be blue lava. Had to turn off all water fog and tint just to be able to see more than 6 inches in front of my face.
In reply to icefire551:
Well then yours is either broken or you're mistaken for a different shader. youtu.be/DwWJtGrAhZw?t=1118
Example video (only one i could find where someone goes underwater). That's silders and thats exactly how it looks for me and my friends.
Even in dark underwater caves when there's no light source.
naww i tried to run these shaders and my house caught on fire, then my house exploded, naww then fire department came and then they caught on fire nawwww, then the entire county exploded nawwwwww... cant have shaders in ohio 💀💀💀💀💀

bro fre only in ohio
if only this shader had some love for the "end" dimension.. it looks like vanilla in comparison with other shaders like complementary which changes the skybox and adds a lot of lights and effects there U - u nonetheless.. this one is the best performance wise
I'm on Vibrant High, trying to figure out how to lessen so much purple pink relfection on glass, I like reflection on it so i dont want to turn it off, but its just reflecting wayyyyyy tooo much. If I'm missing a setting or something to change I would really like to figure it out.
good shader
Hello, could you please add a way to turn off waving Mushroom without turning off the other small entities, if it's possible?
In reply to derdiedasmelek:
Just remove the mushrooms
why is the sun so bright??? I know it’s vibrant but it’s like damn bright. How do I turn the sun down? Which numbers on which side? Also another thing your shader pack made my save game have like these weird distortions all over the place and I reset every option, relaunched the game and it was still there. So Unfortunately I had to start over and created a new save game and it seems to be good now, for now.
And another thing the sky looks too deep blue, it should be bright blue…..
(update) I figured out that the distortion is due to weather conditions in the desert.
I love you
just came here to tell you this
Updates are now going live!
Vibrant shaders 1.50
- Supports MC 1.19.3
- Added an ingame option to adjust the volumetric lighting strength/amount.
- Rewrote Bloom and TAA rendering pipeline, improving performance and fixing various issues.
- Fixed sharpness issues with bloom.
- Improved TAA, sharper image, less flickering and ghosting.
- Weather rendering is bit glitchy right now and requires a rendering pipeline rewrite, maybe in the next update.
what's the difference between Sildur's Vibrant Shaders v1.41 Extreme.zip and Sildur's Vibrant Shaders v1.41 Extreme-VL.zip?
In reply to joyouscreeper1059:
The later supports volumetric lighting by default, while none VL uses normal godrays.
In reply to SildurFX:
ah, do you have a comparison image?
Will there be 1.12.2 or will it come back? just trying to use it with the other mods I'm using
I am using a mac and have been trying to mess around in settings to fix some weird kind of blur i'm getting. I would send an image but I can't figure out how on curse-forge
