Terralith is a datapack (packaged as a mod for both Fabric and Forge) designed to fundamentally overhaul the overworld with new biomes and caves. It accomplishes this without adding any new blocks, making it fully compatible with vanilla clients.
Minecraft 1.18 brought a massive overhaul to world generation. Terralith 2.0 takes that overhaul and turns it up to eleven. This mod is the successor to the original Terralith, but it has been rewritten from the ground up to provide a completely new experience.
Terralith adds nearly 100 brand-new biomes, as well as updating almost every vanilla biome with new and improved features. It also includes tons of completely new terrain types - canyons, shattered biomes, floating islands, deep ocean trenches and much, much more.
Caves have been overhauled as well. Terralith's underground is a place with as much variation as the overworld above - there are multiple new cave biomes, new cave shapes, and even caves made completely of the alternative stone types.
Terralith's style is designed to have something for everyone. There are plenty of realistic biomes like Yellowstone, Shield and Highlands - but also fantastical places like Skylands, Moonlight Grove and even the elusive Mirage Isles. You'll never run out of new biomes and new experiences to discover.
Terralith is now compatible with Biomes o' Plenty and Oh the Biomes You'll Go! Most structure mods should work fine too.

I have just one question maybe some users can answer me that.
What happens if i use Terralith on 1.19.2 and generate much of the world and then update on a new Version of Minecraft and use a new version of terralith?
Do i get weird borders where i didnt generate the world before or does terralith use the same seed and map generation of my 1.19.2 version of terralith?
For example my map ends in a ocean and when i update to a new terralith version the map generates the ocean further or does it take a new seed and generates for example a cut of island.

Is there any way to make it so only the vanilla biomes get generated and not the new ones?
any chance this datapack/mod also makes trees grow similar to the worldgen ones in a future update?
Does anyone know if this mod is compatible with Quark or Alex's Mobs? I'm worried about Quark's caves generating and Alex's Mobs just becoming really rare with so few vanilla biomes.

I don't know about Quark but Alex's Mobs is already set up to spawn in Terralith biomes. You can even check where they spawn in terralith by referencing the spawn configs for them. I should say though that even with all of the proper configs setup, the land mobs can still be somewhat hard to find as Terra (atleast from my experience) tends to bunch similar biomes together, meaning if the mob your looking for isn't within your general spawn area you may be looking for a while.

I have problems with strongholds, sometimes the cords lead to nothing, other times there is no portals, Im also using wwoo since its compatible with terralith, can I get some help?
how to activate the biomes in aternos?
Gorgeous mod/datapack. Thank you for making! I am unfortunately having an issue where if I try to fly more than a few chunks in creative my game slows down to 0fps and crashes with "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space". Lowering the render distance to minimum makes this less likely to happen while anything above 10 guarantees a crash. For reference I usually get 900fps, so it's not like my rig is delicate. I cannot teleport anywhere either without a crash.

The problem is in the name... Minecraft ran out of memory to use. Allocate more RAM to the game through the launcher.
