Require more than 2GB of RAM, 8GB would be ideal, but even 4 will do. It's advisable to pregenerate your world with mod chunky before playing, using commands like: /chuny center (x,y), /chuny radius (radius you want to generate), /chunky start. In that way you won't see any lags, but remember that large worlds take a lot of memory storage, for example 10kx10k world used me 30GB.
