An RPG set in a kawaii-like setting~

from KAGIC mod~

not sure what the thing in the sky is tho (it's an old pic so whatever that is might not be in the modpack currently but it could just be a floating island which are in the pack~)

There a few creepy/dark things within this pack~ (cuz they also add kawaii things of course)

Unfortunately grimoire of gaia mobs cant be tamed :/

You get a free companion to start with when spawning into a world and can summon more later by building a shrine and what not~ There is a guide book of course~

Version 1.0.1 has finally synced with the app!

This modpack was purely made for fun and I will make nothing off this. I make modpacks all the time but I never really do anything with them, So I decided why not make a new one but share it~ The whole theme of it is obviously Kawaii! Tho do know there are some mods I have added that do have nice kawaii-like mobs/items but also add some darker/creepy vibe mobs/items. Only a few tho, most mods are very kawaii tho~ Also this modpacks difficulty is a bit high but I will explain below how to make it easier~ Another thing is that I kept running into a few bugs and an annoying crash that kept happening at random times while playing but I THINK I managed to figure out which one it was and removed that mod. The crash logs don't say much either other than its an incompatibility issue with optifine but so far from my recent testing I haven't gotten anymore crashing!

If you have specs close to my own pc, put BSL profile on LOW in the shader settings. My pc can handle medium or high but the fps just isn't great.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

OPTIFINE IS REQUIRED or else the modpack is pretty much unplayable (depending on your specs)

Make sure NOT to enable render regions! It creates open GL errors and makes some chunks act like they are de-rendering which makes blocks just disappear for no reason but only when your looking in certain directions.

~~I will never be updating the mods in this modpack (If one of them were to ever release a new update) because this is not a professional modpack by any means.~~ I might update mods in this modpack later in the future. Think of it more like a private modpack that I am sharing with others because that's basically what it is.

You may get a bit of tick speed lag if your moving to fast. Running around gets by fairly well with minimal tick speed delay however do note that with my pc specs I sometimes get a rare split-second freeze spike so depending on your pc and/or if your playing with shaders, you may get an occasional split-second freeze sometimes. (I will list my pc specs below along with ram allocation)

For a better experience/difficulty go into the config file for "Grimoire of gaia" and scroll down to about the bottom until you find where it says "Hostile day mobs will no longer attack players on sight" Set this to true This is now enabled by default in version 1.0.1

- For if your stuck on how to heal cracked gems like I was. (KAGIC mod spoiler!)

If you are just as confused as I was on how to heal cracked gems from the "kagic" mod, you need to find the structures that are made out of nothing but leaves and then either climb on the top of it and make your way to the middle or cut your way through the leaves and try to find the middle where a white little structure will be and there you can use a bucket on the "healing tears" and then take it somewhere and place it, then just throw the gems into the healing tears and they are instantly healed and can be right clicked on the ground to summon that gem~

PC SPECS:
Ryzen 3 3200g

16gigs of ram

RX 570 GPU

(If you have higher specs you might be able to play the modpack without optifine but not sure)

RAM ALLOCATION: 7GB to 8GB (I generally play on 8GB usually all the time)

SERVER SETUP INFO:

Right click KawaiiRPG in the curseforge app and click "open folder".
Copy the mods folder to your desktop or wherever you want.

Go into the mods folder and remove the "otako" mod. [Its incompatible with servers]

Then add these 2 mods to the mods folder.

Then just drop the mods folder into your server folder and your good to go.

This was tested with OPTIFINE. So not sure what the performance or TPS would be like without optifine if you host the server yourself.

My connection isn't great but by myself in my test server, rubber-banding only occurs when sprint-flying in creative mode and even then its only minimal rubber-banding but in survival its optimal. However with a better connection the modpack should run even better. Just remember when structures from kagic or kemonocraft load in you will probably get a little rubber-banding because of how big the structures are but at the very least If you host the server yourself it should be optimal for small groups of friends trying to play together.
