About Chococraft 3
(This Mod is the continuation of ChocoCraft 3 which can be found here)
This mod adds a rideable creature called a Chocobo (from the final fantasy series) to the game, this includes different colors, stats, and attributes.
The most basic type can be found in the wild and can be tamed by feeding them with Gysahl Greens which is a plant you can (also) find in the wild, and can be grown by farming with Gysahl Seeds. Gysahl Seeds can be received by crafting from Gysahl Greens or by harvesting already planted Gysahl Greens.
You can use a lovely gysahl to get Chocobos to breed and procreate, this will get them to lay an egg which must be put into a nest and (with enough space :P) a Chicobo will hatch. The Chicobo, the juvenile form of a Chocobo, will grow into a Chocobo. Chicobos will be born wild and have to be tamed. Chicobos will inherit the attributes (maybe) and stats (which can increase or decrease) from their parents and mutate into new colors. You could also maybe splash some paint on them or something if your wanting a color, idk; probably wont work for ALL types of chocobo though. ;)

From this point forward I'm going to try to keep the updates big unless there's a serious issue that needs fixing, sorry for the initial spam of updates :P Also I want everyone to know I'm super new to Minecraft modding, i have no idea how to even update this mod for future version, I may learn how but please don't think I'm guaranteeing it; the real reason I took over development is for my modpack, but I've decided to go ahead and release the updates publicly. If you'd like to assist in developing this mod let me know, I'm glad to accept it.
Clienthax is currently attempting to update this mod for higher minecraft versions, and I have invited a developer to the Chococraft discord to help out as well, I will post more updates here if anything important comes up.
Been running this mod pretty easily, bred yellow Chocobos into white and green.
However when trying to use the fruit or experience to unlock an ability - nothing happens?
Example: Using a dead pepper on a Chocobo or a Chocopedia to unlock via experience yields no results, any suggestions?

I have a question, how do I get the pink, red, purple, black, and flame chocobo? , I got the other chocobos by breeding among yellow chocobos.
do you have a plan to make it into 1.16.5?
There should be an option of dying the gysahl red,pink,gold but there isnt any like that? is that okey or not cause i even reinstalled the mod and i still can;t dye the gysahl or find it already dyed in creative...
Does anyone know how exactly spawn weight works?
I tried to add Chocobos in my Sevtech server and even after hours and hours of exploration, I have found 0 chocobos. I am not saying the mod does not work though. Raising the spawn weight to 1000 did not really make any chocobos appear, at least in the short time I flew around the map slowly, looking all over for a sign of a yellow feather. Cranking up the number to 1billion, made the whole chocobo population come to my server. So the mod definitely can spawn chocobos, but I just do not get how the weight exactly works.
Out of curiocity, would it work if I found some plains and kept killing other mobs, leaving free mob slots for that area?

The models don't look as good as the original, I just really dislike how the normal chocobo look like a stark yellow lemon in comparison to the gentle colors used previously. I really like the mod though, and am glad it got updated with tender love and care to keep this great project alive.

Last updated 18 months ago. The Chocobo Knights of the round table never had that big of a update delay. The mod was first released "Created Aug 24, 2020" which is not even 18 months.
But moving on, yes the Chocobo Knights does plan to be ported to the newest version once it is feature complete or at least mostly complete. We will need input on what version that should be when we get to that. I cannot say how long until that point, but it is getting closer. I would say it is at least 20% to 25% complete at this moment or more. This mod DOMINATES loot tables (Way more Chococraft items than anything else). If you use mods that rely on dungeon loot a lot, dont add it. If anyone has a fix for this that'd be awesome.

Most Dungeon Loot based mods I have seen have a configuration file with a blacklist somewhere in them. I can't assume that all of them do, but it might be worth looking into those config files, finding where the whitelist/blacklist sections are, and blacklisting the items that you don't want appearing in dungeon loot.
