Requires CreativeCore and LittleTiles
This mod allows you to pick any picture or video of the internet and bring it to minecraft. You can choose the size, rotate or flip it. You can do basically everything.
No need for uploading files to the server (no need for storage) and no laggy server (no need for sending pictures to all clients). The idea is to copy a link from the internet and paste it into the frame. So all client will download the picture themselves.
To add your own pictures, i recommend to use imgur or similar websites.
You can link files relative to the minecraft directory using "minecraft://<your file path>".
Powered by VLCJ
VLC 3+ is required to play videos.
1.17?
I will finish the update 1.5.0 for LittleTiles for Minecraft 1.12.2 first. Then I will port this mod alongside the rest of my mods straight to the newest minecraft version (probably early next year).
Unknown issues
- there is only one audio control, cannot set different volumes for videos (basically there is just one overall volume setting)
- vlc does not play all youtube video (no idea why ... maybe it's fixed in VLC 4)

How to use image from folder not from internet?
I trying use this:
You can link files relative to the minecraft directory using "minecraft://<your file path>".
but don't know how path must look like this?
minecraft://D:/Program Files/Minecraft/.example/images/<image_name_with_file_extension> ?
If yes, then its not work or, I just do it wrong.
I know, I can use weblink but need do this offline
In reply to nohaveideaforlonguserid:
As it says it's relative to the .minecraft directory. If you want to use an absolute path, you need 'file:///'. So in your case 'file:///D:/Program Files/Minecraft/.example/images/<image_name_with_file_extension>'
I like the mod, thank you!
Are there ways to sync multiple frames so they all loop at the same time? (given that gif are the same length)
In reply to Akto3:
you can start and stop playing by using signals, you could stop and give the signal to play for each frame at the same time.
In reply to CreativeMD:
Sorry for repetitive question, but I can't seem to grasp how to use the signal to control the frames.
I tried placing single input next to it, or creating a blueprint containing a frame, but it does not work.
In reply to Akto3:
Wanted to explain you how it works ... but then realized I never actually implemented it ... sorry. There is no way currently. Will implement it in the port to 1.18.
In reply to CreativeMD:
Oh... ( ̄▽ ̄;)
But your mod is very helpful anyway, and I really appreciate you for helping me even more. Thank you!
Is there anything similar to this for 1.18?
In reply to LookItsMikeO:
Don't think so. I will port this mod once 1.18.2 once LittleTiles has been released. No idea when this will be.
Hey guys, I have a BIG problem,
that is when I setted up the link, location and more, it will be show a "white" screen, I have download VLC and other require-mods.
Thank you and hope can help me to let the mod work.
In reply to anan0228:
Make sure to link to a video file directly. Also VLC cannot play all videos on youtube for example.
In reply to CreativeMD:
I am very sure the link is correct, and that is a GIF file made by me, and the link from imgur.
In reply to anan0228:
Can you send me the link so I can test it?
a question how do I put videos in the frames since I have downloaded in VLC 3+ 64bits but when I put the video the screen stays black
In reply to walfariu_:
Make sure to link the video file directly. You can test it in VLC directly, there is a way to open Network Stream. Not everything works unfortunately. Some youtube videos for example can't be played for some reason.
Hello, I don't know if I'm making a mistake, but I have a doubt regarding the mod, I've tried to play youtube videos with their respective URLs but it won't let me, I get that I have to install VLC 3+ 64 bits, I already have it installed and nothing, good day :)
In reply to dakobalead4:
Unfortunately VLC cannot play all youtube videos for some reason. You can also try it out in VLC 3 directly. Hope things will be better once VLC 4 is out.
My minecraft crashes everytime i try to open it with the mod, i did put all the mods and downloaded VLC, any idea why is this happening?
