The Ultimate Exploration Pack combines extensive world generation with a wide variety of mobs and gear to create the best possible exploration experience. This pack is based on AsianHalfSquats video, "How To Turn Minecraft Into The Ultimate Exploration Game", using mostly the same set of mods, with a few new ones mixed into to add to the adventure.
Some of the primary features in this mod pack include
- Incredible world generation using the good ol' Biomes o' Plenty, Atmosphere, Environmental, and YUNGS Better Caves
- Lots of new mobs from Alex's Mobs and UpgradeAquatic
- New bosses from Mowzie's Mobs, Mutant Beasts, as well as from Ice and Fire
- A detailed world/minimap thanks to Xaero's mods
- Village bounties to hunt down with Bountiful
- A deep dive into the Twilight Forest
- New structures generation from Valhesia Structures and Repurposed Structures
- A huge list of new weapons of different sorts from Spartan Weaponry
- Optimizations to improve performance using Sodium Reforged, Starlight, Smooth Boot, and Ferrite Core

If you're experiencing major bugs, primarily visual, or just want to use shaders, I would recommend OptiFine
