"So ya wanna fight the ZomBreak head-on, do ya? Ya got gusto, kid, but ya need a lot more than that to survive in the world that we live in. There's a fine line between bein' a hero and bein' zombie food. So I ask ya... which side'a that line'll you land on?"
Enter a world where zombies rule the night, where darkness is even darker and life is more dangerous than you could ever imagine.
A world with great dangers, but great rewards... should you somehow survive.
A world in which there has been a horrible zombie outbreak.
But this is no ordinary zombie outbreak, oh no.
This... is a Zombreak. A zombie apocalypse survival modpack inspired by games such as 7 Days to Die.
During the day, you run about like you would in any other game of Minecraft. Chopping wood, mining stone, gathering food... Nothing special. But at night, this is a very different game.
So dark you can't even see your hand in front of your face, and with all the zombies running about it's unwise to go out unprepared. The zombies are slow, yes, but they're smart, they're strong, and if you make one bad move they'll outnumber you in seconds.
And if you wanna consider hiding underground, the caves aren't much better. You'll likely just find yourself trapped in a corner as a swarm of those deadly creatures swiftly send you to an early grave... and bring you back as one of their own.
Gather resources, arm yourself with powerful equipment, and prepare to face an onslaught of enraged, ravenous, relentless zombies.
See if you can best the living dead. And if the moon glows red, don't try going to bed; it'll mess with your head, so you're forced to stay awake... instead.
...Sounded better before I said it out loud, but I'm sticking with it.
Oh, and those of you who are sensitive to being around guns, even if they're only in video games - because I'm one of you - don't worry; modern-day firearms aren't even available as an option in this modpack, so rest assured that you can face the undead swarm without ever so much as laying eyes on one of those metal-spitting death machines.
Here are all the mods included in ZomBreak, as well as their respective authors and CurseForge pages, in alphabetical order by CurseForge project name (some mods don't display modpack permissions on their respective CurseForge pages, so if you are an author for one of the mods below and wish to see your mod removed, please contact me and I will remove the mod as soon as possible, as well as any downloads of the modpack which include said mod):
If you wish to make a video of this modpack, please share it with me! I'd love to hear your thoughts and criticisms on my work. This is my first public modpack, after all! Oh, and make sure to leave a link to the CurseForge page in the description or a pinned comment.
