Wubpack I's goal is to combine vanilla+ additions and some more traditional modpack mods into one introductory modpack with the help of quests to get players oriented. It is somewhat like dipping one's toe into the pool before fully sending it, as modded Minecraft can be quite daunting from an outside perspective. All of this has been designed with PayMoneyWubby's interests in mind, and ultimately other people's interests. From there, we can then develop future updates and packs to tell stories or showcase cool mods to a growing Minecraft community. 

 

Highlights

Experience Enhancers

  • AmbientSounds 6 - Increase audio-based immersion.
  • Simple Voice Chat - Engage with people directly on a server.
  • JustEnoughItems - This will help out with progression and recipes a bit better than the normal vanilla recipe book.

 

Difficulty Enhancers

  • StaminaZ, Dehydration, EnvironmentZ - All environmental additions to make things a little more difficult. More stats to manage so you don't outright die.
  • Mutant Monsters - Good luck.
  • Physics Mod - Watch out for cave-ins and other challenges, as you might get crushed. Just another way to die.

 

Fun & Shenanigans

  • Simple Hats - Hats are a good reward for doing quests, right?
  • Pandora's Box - Like lucky blocks, but better. I wonder if anyone will donate for these...
  • ChocoCraft - We love Chocobos, and they make good pets. It could be a fun sidequest to acquire them like horses.
