Survive! Ensorcell! Conquer! Reforge! Enchant! Thrive! is a (WIP) Modpack for people who want to experience the visual and creative delights of Conquest Reforged for MC 1.12 alongside a challenging survival experience with a the rounded out trappings of a medieval/magical fantasty setting.
Major Features:
- Be amazed but not annoyed by Conquest Reforged - never has choosing which specific cobblestone motif you prefer taken so long! [Conquest Reforged with some Crafttweaker scripts to make the mod more survival friendly]
- Quests! - Still working on those, but they are taking shape! You get stuff for doing the quests! [Better Questing]
- So many buildings! - Tons of structures included (not all active yet though), many of which are tweaked for Conquest Reforged blocks! [Recurrent Complex]
- So cozy! So chill! Make Oatmeal and decorate! Make some apple juice and some olive oil! [Comfy Cozy, Rustic]
- Yer a wizard! Unless you don't want to be, in which case your can still kill wizards and take their stuff! [Elecroblob's Wizardry / Arcane Essentials]
- Funny animals! - Some not so much funny as dangerous! Some not so much animals as something else! [Better Animals Plus, Primitive Mobs, Comfy Cozy]
- Also not-even-arguably-animals but actually arguably-terrifying-beasts and -monsters! [Fish's Undead Rising, Ice & Fire, Primitive Mobs, Mowzie's mobs]
- Useful pets! - Do you even [Rats] bruh?
- Dungeon-adjacent structures to adventure in! Ok, ok, it's Battle Towers and Roguelike Dungeons
- All kinds of crazy gear! And enchantments! Baubles! Grave robbing! Loot bags with treasures! Wait, Grave robbing? [Baubles, Artifacts, Loot Bags, Treasure2 and more!]
- RPG elements! Currently Reskillable and CompatSkills, but I might change it to Mine & Slash! What surprises await!?!
- Glowglass! I made it myself with Crafttweaker because why not?
- Dwarf technology! - for those who insist on having some kind of engineering thing happening! [Embers Rekindled]
- Drawers! For Storage! Carry on placed chests around! Bonsai Trees!
- Graves! Because you're gonna die! Maybe a lot! [Corpse Complex, Tomb Many Graves 2]
Somewhat serious note from the modpack developer
I started cobbling this together at some point after playing RLcraft like everyone else, having been impressed by the relative coherence and design principles the pack possessed. But like everyone else, I have my own opinions regarding what's fun and interesting, and so maybe in the end it's not even worth pointing out the RLcraft influence, because if I'm honest I was also really inspired by Rustic Waters and no one is going to look at this modpack and think "yep, another Rustic Waters clone."
This pack is still being developed. A good few quests are in, most of the mods are solidly chosen and in place, lots of structures are in place... I'm open to suggestions, but mostly how to make what's there already better (I'm going to have a hard time agreeing with the pack needing 20 more mods that add another entire block/tech ecosystem, etc. but if you know a mod that would make it all come together be sure and let me know)
In general, here's the basic design considerations of the pack:
- playable on mid-range machines
- survival inventory should be manageable
- not too frustrating, but not too shallow
- neat stuff, new stuff!
