Description
Vanillium Realistic
Minecraft, but the world takes its time with you.
I made this pack because I missed the feeling of a first survival night, when everything was unknown and a small wooden hut felt like a fortress. Vanillium Realistic keeps the Minecraft you already know, then asks you to slow down a little. You eat proper meals, carry water, patch up your wounds, and get to know the people who live down the road.
It is not a hardcore pack, and it is not trying to kill you. It just makes ordinary days matter.

🌾 A slower start
You will not punch a tree on your first morning. Look at the ground instead. Gather what is lying around, make a rough flint blade, and work your way up from there. It only takes a few minutes, but it changes how you see the land around you.
Food is more than a bar to refill. Eat the same thing every day and you will feel it, so a mixed plate of bread, fish, fruit and something warm goes a long way. Rivers and rain matter too. A hot desert afternoon or a freezing mountain night will change your plans if you are not ready.
Falls and fights hurt specific parts of you. A bad landing far from home is a real problem, which is why a couple of bandages in your pocket feels so good. Running and climbing tire you out. Walk for a bit and you catch your breath.
🏡 Villages full of people
Villages are bigger, prettier, and full of people with names, moods and opinions about you. Say hello. Help out. Trade, take on small jobs, make friends, fall in love, and if it goes well, raise a family in a house you built together.

You can settle in one place and become part of a town, or keep moving and drop by now and then with news and goods from far away. Both feel right here.

🎣 Rivers, kitchens and quiet days
Some of the best moments in this pack are the slow ones. Building a little dock. Waiting for a bite while the light turns orange. Bringing home a strange catch and cooking it into something new. Kitchens grow from a campfire and a pot into a proper room with real recipes, and farms change with the seasons.

Spring, summer, autumn and winter roll through the year and change the colours, the weather and what you can grow. Rain leaves puddles, rivers flow, the sea has waves, and the world sounds different inside a cave than it does in an open field.
🧭 Going somewhere
Every trip starts on foot. Later you might ride with a friend on the same horse, pull a cart to market, sail a small ship along the coast, glide off a cliff, or eventually take to the sky. Picking the right way to travel is part of the fun, and the journey is often better than where you end up.

There is plenty out there to find: hidden ruins, coastal towns, dangerous camps, wandering traders, and landscapes big enough to make you stop and stare. Bring a camera and take pictures along the way.
⚔️ Danger, when you go looking for it
Home can be calm, but the wider world is not. Raiders travel the roads and sail the seas, ruins hide nasty surprises, and fights feel heavier with real swings, shields and old gunpowder weapons. You decide when you are ready to go out and face it.

🌅 Your first day
The first time you join a new world, a short welcome page explains the few choices that shape your game. Nothing starts until you confirm. After that you receive a small bag of supplies to get you going: a canteen of clean water, some bandages, a simple knife, a little food and a few torches.
The pack looks clean and close to the original game by default. If your computer has room for it, you can switch on one of several optional visual styles, from soft and light to dark and atmospheric. The screenshots on this page use one of those optional styles.
