Minecraft used to be simple - gather some logs, build a house, plant some wheat, make bread and a sword, and fight a few simple mobs. Rinse and repeat.
In Farming Fortress, the bones are still there, they're just yours now! Gather logs while fending off the cold, hunger, thirst, and dozens of crazy mobs intent on feasting on your liver. Build a house to protect yourself from the weather and mobs, but watch out for the wizards teleporting inside to separate your head from your neck. Plant some wheat, or one of dozens of new crops, or hack apart cows and other livestock for their hides and carcasses. Bake bread, or pie, or pizza, or a burger and fries - mix it up because eating the same thing every day won't help your hunger bar. Craft a sword, but better make it out of the finest materials because the Tier 3 mobs are out to get you. Finally, take the fight to them!
Farming Fortress expands upon the basics of Vanilla without significantly changing what makes Vanilla so great. The challenge in this pack is staying alive long enough to even build a base. Hunger, thirst, the weather, and over 80 unique mobs can and will kill you repeatedly. How long can YOU stay alive?
