Yggadrasil’s Mods
Overview
This is a cumulative modpack composed of all types of different mods which I consider to be both interesting and good. It has a focus on magic, swords, and RPG elements. It is deeply rooted in boss fights and progression, but it isn't necessarily focused soley on these topics, with plenty of mods that deepen building potential. Consider this modpack to be your personal gateway into a world of fantasy and wonder, all of which is heavily configurable by YOU, the player.
Magic
The core magic mods in this modpack are Apotheosis and Ars Nouveau, but there are also other magical based mods such as Relics and Runelic involved as well.
Apotheosis is a simpler, more Vanilla friendly magic mod, adding onto already existent magical elements of Minecraft, such as Enchanting, Potion making, and Spawners. There is far more to this mod, and many quality of life changes lurking just beneath the surface. One of the more obvious and pronounced changes this mod makes is the appearance of modified mobs, which grants them greater power and makes the world seem more dangerous and historically rich. Equipment also has a chance to appear with these modifiers as well, only furthering that sense of history.
Ars Nouveau has a more pronounced effect on the gameplay, which is clear from the beginning of the game. This mod adds a variety of new mobs, all of which with their own special patterns, behaviours, and models. There is also a heavy focus on magical rituals and spellbooks, all of which are heavily configurable and interactive. Something to lookout for are summons, which works like a form of automation for crafting and other menial tasks you may want to avoid. Overall, it is a extremely interesting mod.
Relics is a mod that adds a variety of unique baubles to the game, all of which change and affect gameplay in relatively minut but noticable ways. It is a wonderous mod which makes the game all the more fun to play. These baubles are also upgradable, in order to create a more pronounced effect on your gameplay.
Runelic is by far the most simple of the magic mods in this pack, and honestly is hardly a magic mod. Don't be discouraged though, because this mod adds an interesting new font style to the game which is perfect for any sort of magical RP experience. It also adds to banner options, which is a joy to use.
I wanted this modpack to be relatively simple, so I avoided adding too many different magic mods, instead focusing on a certain few. However, each magic mod has their own addons which deepen their possibilities. One such addon is Ars Elemental, an Ars Nouveau addon that allows for more variety in the elemental capabilities of the mod, and another being Relics: Alex's Caves Compat, undefinedwhich adds compatibility between Relics and another mod in the pack.
The Armory
I wanted to keep the gameplay semi-vanilla (despite the various mods that are in this modpack), so I avoided mods like Epic Fight, which don't get me wrong is incredible, but still drastically changes how the game is played. Instead, I added a mod which is considered one of the most configurable weapon mods out there, while also avoiding the in depth configuartion of a mod like Tinkers Construct. This mod is known as Tetra, and is truly among my top favorited mods out there. For the most part, melee combat is based on the realm of Tetra, but it has been expanded even further by compat mods like the Tetranomicon, and the highly regarded Gobber undefinedmod (to me at least).
The World(s)
The Ultimate Magick world is highly expansive and beautiful, with vibrant caves, immersive biomes, and impressive structures strewn about. You are bound to run into something new no matter where you are.
On the Overworld, the history of the world is expansive and bountiful, with great biomes added with Biomes O' Plenty, impressively reworked structures thanks to YUNG Better Mods & some of ChoiceTheorem's Mods, and mysterious new structures of the DimensionalDoors mod. I would hate to reveal too much about the DimensionalDoors mod, but it is an impressive and sometimes funny mod, which is probably self explanatory based on its title. You may also find mysterious artic forges beneath grand mountains thanks to the Tetra mod.
The other Realms are equally as impressive, with the YUNG mods having further influence in the Nether and the End. It is furthermore worth noting that there are MORE realms, with the classic Twilight Forest mod being included, as well as a certain ominous realm added in by DimensionalDoors.

Mobs & Bosses
One of the most essential parts of an immersive Minecraft experience is without a doubt the mobs, and I certainly didn't leave them out.
The mobs in this modpack are widely diverse, with a plethora being added from both Alex's Mobs and Mowzie's Mobs, and even more interactable species being added with the Goblin Trader and Kobold mods.
And of course, we can't forget the Bosses added with this modpack. Thanks to Mowzie's Mobs, many Overworld mobs with impressive loot have been added, all with unique and unforgetable designs. Naturally it is worth mentioning once more the Twilight Forest mod, which adds many worrisome foes, like the Lich and the Naga. These boss fights and the vanilla boss fights are also improved with the Enhanced Boss Bars resource pack, which makes the bland boss bars impressively unique. It is compatatible with Mowzie's Mobs mod, and they plan to update the mod to be compatible with the Twilight Forest bosses soon.
Improvements
Within this modpack lies various different immersive and improvement factors, from eloquent shaders to impressive sound design to even unique GUI's, I left no door unopened.
The shader I decided were best for this modpack was the accomplished Reimagined Shader__s, paired with the improvement mod Euphoria Patches, it can make even the simplest plains biome seem like a luscious land.
The sound enhancement mods I went with were Sound Physics Remastered and Prescence Footsteps, both of which I admire greatly, as well as the music mod Dynamic Music Updated which changes with your travel.
Other notable improvements are made with various cave based mods, like the Drip Sounds and Cave Dust mods. The GUI improvement resource pack Unique Dark and its compat give most GUI's in the game a unique and visually alluring look. With the Fresh Animations resource pack, Vanilla mobs become more notable, and with Traveler's Titles mod, exploration becomes far more interesting. With Immersive Weathering, the world ages with you, making every day spent seem more prolonged and meaningful. There are also many different optimization mods to improve your experience, and other minor enhancment mods added that I have not mentioned.

Other
This mod is very deep and has many different focus points, some not notable enough to be included in their own, personal section, but notable enough for me to give credit to them. All these mods share equal importance in making this modpack a truly amazing experience, all I've done is gather them in one place for ease of access.
Farmer's Delight is probably one of the most favorited agricultral mods out there, and it adds so many impressive and delightful features beyond just agriculture. From furniture, to exotic dishes, to even new enchantments, this mod is in a tier of its own when it comes to Minecraft. Beyond just being an incredible mod on its own, it has compatibilities with nearly every mod in this pack, creating a vast amount of craftable delicacies.
With the Essential Mod, you need not ever be alone again in Minecraft. This mod adds the capability to host your own multiplayer session without creating a server. This, of course, has its own drawbacks, but if you want to play with your friends without going through the strenuous process of creating a server, this is your go to. It also adds customization capabilities and new commands to the game, great for managing an experience.
Lootr makes it so that every player in the game will be able to get their own loot from a single generated chest if they haven't yet taken from it. This is great for those who have friends with stick fingers, who are looters to the core. It is worth noting that the chests can still be destroyed, but it is still less likely for you to be left lootless.
I cannot leave out the Origins mod. This mod makes it so that you can choose your own race at the beginning of each world, all of which have their own influences on how you will play the game. This is honestly one of the most important mods in this pack, creating a deeper fantasy influence and being an important RPG aspect. Be careful when choosing though, as if you choose wrong, you may end up regretting your choices.
