Wandering Bag adds loot bags which are looted by minecraft creatures designated as "intelligent" and having an inventory such as Wandering Traders, Witches and Pillagers. When you get some, you can, with the help of a right click, get relics as surprising as each other until you wonder "Why didn't they use it during the fight?". If you were frustrated with not getting anything from killing them, you will love this mod !
I'm French and this mod was done with Mcreator (Sorry if I make mistakes in English 😅)
This mod adds different lootbags, the Wandering Bag (dropped by Wandering Traders with 100%), the Pillager Bag (dropped by Pillagers with 5%), the Witch Bag (dropped by Witches with 50%), the Piglin Bag (dropped by Piglin Brutes with 50%), and Ancient Bag (dropped by Warden with 100%). You also have a 30% chance of getting a unique music record made by RedWolf if you kill a Wandering Trader
Inside the bags you can obtain all kind of waepons, relics, potion ingredients or music instruments ! (Items can be disable with the config file)
In wandering bags, you can acquire the :
-Hammer from Farlands (This powerful hammer was found in strange lands. It can make a Shockwave that throws ennemies around in air and deal durability damage)
-Bucket from Unknown (This silver bucket was decorated with emerald having magical ability. It can store 210 xp points, approximately 30 levels)
-Spices from Elsewhere (These spices can brew Thick Potion into pretty new weird potion that can use your food bar instead of your health bar)
-Flute of Friendship (This flute was made with mystical bamboo. It can produce a sound that attracts the sympathy and the resources of the villagers)
In pillager bags, you can acquire the :
-Dagger of Traitor (This dagger was forged by the vindicators to eliminate all the pillagers who betrayed their clan. it is very effective against them )
-Emerald of Renegade (This stone was extracted from dense silver mines and has properties that evokers enjoy improving. It can immunize to the Bad Omen effect and make you stronger when you are healthy )
-Herb of Rescue (This fern herb was fermented long enough to produce odours that make Ravagers docile and tamable)
-Horn of Raiding (Every self-respecting Pillager has one on him to launch every raid assault ! This ravager horn can give a Bad Omen effect)
In witch bags, you can acquire the :
-Forbidden Spell (This book was written by old swamp wizards. It turns weak creatures into poor slimes. It is strictly forbidden to use it as a witch)
-Flask of Adaptation (The content of this flask is totally unknown but it has properties that are very much used by witches to make their potions. It allows to have a complementary effect to the environment in which you are)
-Swamp Essence (These essence can brew Poison II potion into pretty useful new potion that can immunise you to the strongest poisons)
-Chime of Bewail (This chime was made from mythical creature bones. It can slow down the enemies and take away their potion effects.)
In piglin bags, you can acquire the :
-Whip of Dominance (This whip was once used to ride hoglins but was put aside during the great famine of the nether where the piglins had to feed on hoglin meat)
-Chalice of Swine (This chalice made of pure gold has wither blood inside. It allows you to hydrate in the nether to remove your wither effects and to extinguish you)
-Withered Bonemeal (This powder was made from Wither Skeleton bones. It is very fertile and allows to grow the nether warts. It can brew Thick potion into new potion that grow up any baby)
-Drum of Underworld (These drums were made by the Piglin children to celebrate hunts. They produce a sound so powerful that they propel back the mobs around you)
In ancient bags, you can acquire the :
-Echo Sword (This Glaive of the Deep Dark makes the flesh of the enemies vibrate and the next blow finishes them more and more)
-Hull of Vibration (This very resistant shell allows the wearer to absorb small shocks and can do damage to monsters around by pressing G)
-Sculk Roots (These sculk roots can be brew on a Night Vision potion to make a potion that can glow the entities around you that are hidden)
-Harp of Madness (This mythological harp makes a sound so shrill that it drives all the creatures around it crazy and they start to inflict damage themselves)

Here are the different lootbags that the mod adds, the Wandering Bag (100% drop on a Wandering Trader), the Witch Bag (50% drop on a Witch) and the Pillager Bag (8% drop on a Pillager)
Items obtainable in the Wandering Bag are the Sword From Elsewhere (Does area damage), the Hammer From Farlands (Throw ennemies around and deal durability damage), the Bucket Of Unkown (Can stock 30 lvl of xp), the Flute Of Friendship (Give a Hero of the Village effect), and the Spice From Elsewhere (Make main items unusable and temporarily immobilizes the ennemy).
Items obtainable in the Witch Bag are the Mirror Of Abundance (Duplicate the item in the off hand), the Flask of Adaptation (Applies effects you need, if you are on fire you will have Fire Resistance, if you are drowning you will have Water Breathing, if you are in the void you will have a Levitation...), the Strange Mixture (Gives a negative or positive effect to ennemy), the Wither Bone Meal (Applies a bonemeal effect to the crops in a 3x3 radius), and the Uncasted Spell (Turn creature into slime while consuming xp).
Items obtainable in the Pillager Bag are the Dagger Of Traitor (Deal more damage to Illager), the Whip Of Taming (Ride the ennemy), the Herb Of Rescue (Tames Ravagers), the Ravager Horn (Give a Bad Omen effect) and the Bad Tome (Spawns evoker fang under ennemies while consuming xp).

You can disable it in the config file if you don't like it
Bucket from unknown is only supposed to hold 30 levels of exp you can go over that amount. 1.18.2 version. Can you just change the text and item so it can hold more or make sure it can't take in more after 210. I like that you fixed the exploit that let people with the Project E repair talisman to have infinite exp back in 1.16.5. Or were you unaware of that? Could you look into a bit of integration with Project E?
I really like this mod and especially love the hammer. I was wondering if you ever thought about giving the hammer the ability to be enchanted with loyalty or channeling? Thanks!
Love this mod and it's way of collecting unique items from stuff, I hope we will get more future stuff. Elder Gaurdian or Gaurdians in general could have some interesting water themed loot tied to them 👀

Trying to open an Ancient bag in the most recent update causes the game to crash. You also can't find how to make the new potion 'echolocation' in JEI. Going to have to downgrade a version till its resolved

It happened to me in the newest version but deleting the config did not help.
idk where you accept bug reports but recent update for 1.19.2 of bags broke mob loot drops making mob drop nothing at all. Noticed that when slaying warden and he didn't drop either bag or sculk catalyst it always drops. Thought this would help!

I don't have the bug on my side, you probably have a mod or a gamerule that influences the mobs loot
finally they removed the mirror I wanted to use this mod in a pack with my friends but the mirror can dupe shulkers so if you get 3 mirrors you can have a infinite amount of anything
Silver Armor isnt craftable with other modded silver ingots, you should add a tag
