Armor Weight does not add a weapon or an object but a new feature. Armor now has a weight! Unfortunately (or happily) it does not decrease your speed but affects gravity! The more power your armor is (armor points) then it will affect the speed at which you jump
I'm French and this mod was done with Mcreator (Sorry if I make mistakes in English 😅)
The more armor points you have, the lower you’ll jump (in vanilla, the netherite armor is the heaviest)
This mod adds a new mechanism, you can now crash on the enemies to do damage to them
To amplify this effect, you can enchant your boots with the enchantment "Smash" (can reach level 3)
Afterwards, if you are tired of jumping lower than normal, you can enchant one of your armor pieces with the enchantment "Slight" to return to the Vanilla gameplay
You can put Armor Weight in your modpack !

There should be a config option to decrease the speed of the player depending on the armor weight. And it should also work on mobs that spawn with or pick up armor
You need to add Forge and 1.18.2 in the game versions otherwise this mod doesn't show up when making a modpack on the launcher for 1.18.2 forge.

I really enjoy this mod that you made so I planned an smp that would include this however the project distribution is disabled so my server host cant use this therefore the server cant load the mod in. on the 1.16.5 version the slight enchantment is making me unable to jump

wearing armor in creative makes the flight slowly fall
this is nice! even if, like, weight don't matter in the speed things fall in real life (not as it matter for a minecraft mod)

It's true that for the fall, this isn't very logical (it is by technical restriction that it was added and i'll maybe fix it later)
The weight is supposed to act during the jump of the player (so that he jumps less high) and when he lands on an entity (to do damage thanks to the inertia force)
