The Eclipse Modpack
What kind of Modpack is this?
The Eclipse Minecraft Modpack is made for everyone who cant wait explore and discover new areas and bioms... or for everyone who just wants to use some new building blocks. The intension behind this Modpack was trying on one hand to bring new exiting and refreshing things to the world of minecraft but on the other hand avoid stepping on the toes of the vanilla core essence of the game. To achieve this, each modifikation we added or currently adding to the pack was carefully tested. We particularly trying to make sure if a modification is not to complex for new players, if a modification brings something to the game, that simply makes it better and if a modification still kind of feels like vanilla minecraft. I have to admit, the last point is sometimes hard to evaluate. And at the end of this short introduction I´m seriously concerned about you,... I mean... why are you still reading?
Which Mods are included and what is their purpose?
World-Generation Mods
Valhelsia Structures (by ValhelsiaTeam)
- adds various new structures like small castles and homes.
YUNG's Better Caves (Forge) (by YUNGNICKYOUNG)
- adds new, bigger caves, with underground Bioms.
YUNG's Better Mineshafts (Forge) (by YUNGNICKYOUNG)
- adds new, bigger mineshafts, with underground Bioms.
Repurposed Structures (Forge) (by telepathicgrunt)
- adds new structures to the game and upgrades some vanilla structures, like villages.
Oh The Biomes You'll Go (by AOCAWOL)
- adds bioms to the overworld, the nether and to the end.
The Endergetic Expansion (by TeamAbnormals)
- an astonishing mod wich adds new bioms to the end.
Mob/NPC Mods
- adds penguins.
- adds vanilla friendly mobs to the game.
Progressive Bosses (by Insane96MCP)
- After defeating the Ender-Dragon or the Wither, the next fight will be more difficult.
Guard Villagers (by almightytallestred)
- adds new villager guards. They are protecting their village from monsters and raids.
Let Sleeping Dogs Lie (by ohaiiChun)
- dogs now can lay down instead of sitting all the time.
- adds different creatures, that could have been in the game but unfortunately got outvoted.

- Well... this mods connects textures of different blocks.

- minor adjustments to the title screen.

- various patches for the vanilla minecraft system.
- Yea... it adds the possibility of sitting on slabs and stairs.
Pam's HarvestCraft 2 - Crops (by pamharvestcraft)
- adds a few new crops to the game. It also adds "rightclick-harvesting" and in addition makes it possible to harvest bigger areas with a hoe...Supplementaries (by MehVahdJukaar)
- a inventory sorter.
- adds whole bunch of new sound effects depending on your location and situation. Like, echos if you are in a big cave...
- a lots of small improvements to vanilla features.
