MDKraft
At its core, this modpack is about breathing a sense of fantasy and adventure into Minecraft by enhancing the combat and exploration elements of the game. It does this by:
- Providing a deeper combat system with mods like Better Combat, Combat Roll, Simply Swords, and a magic system through Iron's Spells & Spellbooks
- Tying all of the above together with a fully custom skill tree based on the Passive Skill Tree mod, augmented by KubeJs to include fully unique and custom-built skills (WIP)
- Adding new challenges to discover and overcome with mods like Ice and Fire, Born in Chaos, and Enemy Expansion
- Making the world bigger and brighter with new terrain from William Wyther's Overhauled Overworld, Tectonic, and Terralith, while also making it more explorable by providing Gliders and even fully customizable, physics-based ships from Valkyrien Skies and Eureka! Ships!
For the redstone enthusiasts out there looking for new contraptions to build, this pack also features the Create mod to take automation and industry to the next level. And for the homesteaders there are several decoration mods as well as Farmer's Delight and Aquaculture 2 to make your house a home (full of delicious food).
Overseeing all of this are some behind-the-scenes mods like the aforementioned KubeJs, and Crafttweaker, integrating the whole experience together by providing everything from balance tweaks to entirely new functionalities to the game.
This modpack is under constant development to expand on the custom skill tree and improve the balance and progression of gameplay overall.
