Note: Although Valkyrien Skies is a realistic physics engine, Eureka ships do not have realistic physics. In order to facilitate easier ship-building, all Ship Helms apply stabilizing force/torque.
Eureka is a simple add-on for Valkyrien Skies that fits with vanilla aesthetic and is easy and fun to use.

*Eureka is built from the ground up, it is not based on the code of previous airship mods like Archimedes Ships.
The mod doesnt work with optifine, tested it on a server im using with this mod. when someone uses optifine the assembled ships are invisible for them
NIce mod, But a problem for me, it seems that when i press assemble the ship seems to be invisible but i can still ride it
What does anchor do and how do I use it?

Great mod, good with create. However i found that anchors are glitched in 1.18.2 as of version 1.1.0-beta6. If a ship is anchored and collides with another ship, there seems to be a chance of the anchored ship to be flung off into the far far distance at crazy speeds never to be seen again. You can manage to get your ship back by loading a copy of the world without the mod and teleporting to where the ships simulation is. (I found to get the coordinates of that you need to have set your spawn to your ship, as it will then be set to the simulation ship. However while the mod is loaded it will attempt to teleport you to the 'working' ship if you come anywhere near the simulation one so you need to do it without the mod).
1.12.2 support would be the best im on a 1.12 server with my friend and i really wanted this mod but it wouldn't support 1.12.2 and it would be really cool to have.

It exists already, it's Valkyrian Skies in that one. This mod is an add-on to the newer versions of VS that don't include the airships by default anymore.
1.19.2 please? i really need this mod for a project on a 1.19.2 fabric server.
When I run this mod, on 1.16.5, it just leaves me at a black screen, i can't even go to the menu, the title screen
Idk why but when i assemble ship texture disappear
For some reason this mod refuses to work. I'm trying to add it to the Create+ modpack's modlist and it's constantly giving the unhelpful "encountered an error during the sided_setup event phase" error. I did fully update forge to 40.2.1 and it still keeps crashing. It only crashes after adding this.

here are just a few bugs and suggestions:
Bugs:
- the "wheel" part of the ship helm doesnt render in
- you can't disassemble the ship
- sleeping in a bed while on the ship crashes the game and your world becomes unaccessible
- sitting on a seat from the create mod teleports you up a few blocks instead of sitting down
- lectern items get ejected
- some blocks, such as beds, do not load in while ship is assembled
- Doors become invisible when blockstate is changed.
Suggestions:
- if you are using a ship, water does not drain out of the bottom if it is partially submerged. possibly add a water pump (like the old 1.12.2 valkyrien skies?)
- As of now, weather particles appear to fall through the roof of the ship; For example, when it rains or snows, even though you are inside the ship the particles still phase through the roof - It would be just that little bit more aesthetically pleasing inside a ship to have the weather not effect those areas under a roof (1.12.2 valkyrien skies did this)
- If blocks are detatched completely from the ship, possibly make them fall towards the ground instead of having levitating pieces of airship around (just for fun, especially if you are playing multiplayer with explosives)
- If possibly, compatibility with Create big cannons?

just gonna report a few bugs here (i dont know if this applies to everyone or if its just me though)
bugs:
- ship helm (the wheel. part) becomes invisible when ship is assembled
- world crashes when trying to sleep in bed on ship at night
- trying to sit in create seats when ship is assembled teleports you a few blocks up instead of sitting down
- lecterns have their item ejected
- can't disassemble ship even after aligning etc
when i assemble the ship in the latest 1.18.2 forge version, the airship becomes invisible
When using the 1.18.2 version on my minecraft server on Pludos, the ship will assemble and be transported to the shipyard coordinates. But then when attempting to drive it, it doesn't respond and additionally does not act like a physics object.
The log for the server simply states:
java.lang.Exception: Collision box is too big!
If anyone has any advice for this I'd appreciate it.
I am sorry to be that one guy, but I have a create world with some stuff in 1.19.2. Is there an estimate for when/if this will be ported to the newer versions?
I'm trying to play w/ this and valkyrien skies on forge 1.18.2 and it's telling me that I don't have valk installed when I do & forge wont let me play. ive tried like 13 times at this point and it just doesn't work, is this broken on forge?
