Description
Gobblin Mode is a modpack I designed because I wanted a more directed path between magic mods. With the help of Game Stages & FTB Quests, this pack's main progression requires you to complete five magic mods, one at a time, to unlock the next. The magic mods are optional, but you have to explore any other content on your own.
Note: The 1.18 version of the modpack does not currently feature a guided progression system. The plans for this are as of yet undetermined.
Main Magic Mods
- [1.16 Only] Eidolon - Making pacts and blood sacrifices with dark entities for access to magic items & powerful rituals
- EvilCraft - Exploring the limits of blood sacrifice, which just so happen to include exploiting captured souls, disenchanting items, summoning zombies, and flying brooms
- Mahou Tsukai - Transitioning into innate magic without the need for sacrifice. Lots of spells, crazy swords, big explosion staff, etc.
- Ars Nouveau - Pure magic, fully customizable spells, do pretty much anything you can think of but simpler and easier
- [1.16 Only] Astral Sorcery - Harnessing the pure power of starlight to make the coolest interdimensional teleporter in any mod ever, break enchantment limits, and more
Other Magic Mods
- Turtlemancy - Gain power from nature's fiercest predator. Seriously more useful than it sounds. Break bedrock, fancy shoes, etc.
- Forbidden and Arcanus - Lots of disconnected features. Magical gold, pokeballs, make any item indestructible
Honorable Mentions
- Origins- Gameplay based on what you choose - Elves, Endermen, Goblins, and more!
- Quark- Lots of Quality of Life changes
- Create- Low-tech automation, infinite redstone possibilities
- Customizable Player Models - Goblin model included, but not required
- [1.16 Only] Guard Villagers, Better Golems, Better Villages, & Regrowth make villagers slightly less likely to be slaughtered
- Mowzie's Mobs, Alex's Mobs, and of course Ice and Fire: Dragons give you more than enough enemies to test your unlimited power
