Alot about the pack has been changed to more optimise the RAM usage on clients and servers, what used to use 6GB of RAM will now use 4.95 to 4.98 GB of RAM.
Somethings have been changed to more adapt to the classic modded Minecraft feel, these thing are a focus on more of the old school tech mods. These tech mods like MineFactory Reloaded and Buildcraft are now more important for early and late game progression to speed up the long process for rocket creation and resource gathering.
