Welcome To Silly Sorcery
(This pack runs with 4 gigabytes (4000 megabytes) of RAM allocated.)
Silly sorcery is a modpack that doesn't take itself too seriously, but with room to play it seriously, if you desire.
With a focus on magic, adventure and combat mods, but peppered with a scattering of sillier mods, this is the perfect pack for high fantasy schenanigans, alone or with pals. Dungeons and structures litter the landscape, inviting you to brave their challenges. The caverns under the earth are gaping and expansive, and packed with treasures and terrors alike. Civilizations populate the world, daring you to make war, or peace. Monsters, both silly and sinister, populate this strange world, challenging your every attempt at progress.
Become a master of magic! Become a Thaumaturge, a Wizard, a Brand Name Wizard, a Druid, or tap into the mysterious power contained in the depths of the earth! Or eschew sorcerous ways and take up the sword, or, perhaps a more Rustic, agrarian lifestyle sounds appealing. A number of machines can be constructed to aid in these, and other goals.
But it's not all battle and grim darkness in this world. Accessorize with a wide array of cosmetic items, ranging from stylish armors to full-on halloween costumes, or, fully custom armor carved from block-bits thanks to Chisels And Bits with Extra Bit Manipulation. Peddle wares for your friends using Vending Block. Having a bad run of things? Turn your luck around: Chance cubes litter the landscape, daring you to risk it all for dubious gain. Dungeon loot is littered with Chance Globes and Loot Bags.
The pack features a FTB Quests questbook with approximately 45 quests! A light touch has been used in questmaking, with the questbook being assembled to guide you in the direction of content, rather than bully you into crafting every item in the whole pack. Over 40 totally rad Simple Trophies await the intrepid, allowing you to show off your accomplishments and bask in your glory. Can you find them all?
Delivery and Delivery Merchants provide totally custom shopkeepers who sell exclusive goods, or staple supplies, using a custom currency.
