★ What do in ChocoAmber:

Standard Mode - Focus on building and let the progression come to you as you play instead. You're not supposed to rush this pack.
Castaway/CTM - Play an old map and see how far the balance or gameplay changes
Adventure Mods - ChocoAmber is meant to not have any big adventure or tech mods by itself aside from netherlicious. I encourage you to add an adventure mod like Twilight Forest, Lord of The Rings or Orespawn and see how much you can get out of it, if you want. (I don't really balance ChocoAmber around this, but it doesn't hurt to try for fun)

★ Game intend

ChocoAmber is meant to be a polished experience. Loot tables were completely changed. All food is completely rebalanced. Mob health is adjusted. Many crafting recipe changes. More swords, more bows, boss music. Everything has to work together or it's thrown out. I don't like mods that do nothing.

As for graphics, the style is supposed to be old-school Minecraft in the sense of what it stood out with rather than what we are nostalgic for - some textures I made myself, including all the special food textures, tools, and GUI, the sun and moon, other leaves, higher res Ghast and Wither textures, and all the special item container textures. And many other textures

If you see something that looks different, it's almost certain I made the texture

(There's a yet unbalanced end-game, though)

84tangelo - "The Wither" (Youtube Video) - I had listened to every single fan-made Wither theme and settled on this one. It's unironically ChocoAmber's theme as well.
