CraftGuide is a fairly simple in-game recipe viewer for Minecraft with the goal of being able to display a lot of information at once, and have some fairly simple ways to quickly navigate it.
Its main focus has been through the use of a scrollbar, using the common behaviour where recipes added by any given mod tend to be grouped together to allow users to rapidly navigate to mod-themed sections of the list. More recent changes include making the GUI resizable, to fill as much of the screen as users are comfortable with (accomplished by dragging the small blue triangular button in the lower right corner), and a system where clicking on an item filters the list to only show recipes that use that item, either as input or output.
CraftGuide has an API, allowing other mods to provide additional recipes among other things, as well as built-in support for displaying some mods' recipes. Additional built-in mod support or assistance using the API will generally be provided upon request from the current author of the mod in question. User-requested mod support is occasionally implemented after consulting with that mod's author(s).
Updates are often sparse, although there is generally at least one for every major Minecraft version.
At the moment (starting in version 1.6.8.1), CraftGuide requires either Forge or LiteLoader. (LiteLoader versions are currently available from the minecraftforum.net thread)
Source code is available on GitHub.
Further information and downloads for older Minecraft versions can be found in the minecraftforum.net thread.
1.12.2 please, because JEI and Had Enough Items are very lagging.
I hate the new vanilla system and must acquire this. Developers, if you are no longer wishing to update, I will gladly take the torch and revive this classic. I have been looking for this for my Yogbox revival.

It's MIT-licensed and on Github, so you're welcome to try. I'd prefer that any continuation have a separate Curseforge page, mod id, and API path, though. Even just adding a prefix or suffix would be great. Also, glance at the 1.7.10 branch, it has some more "recent" work inspired by attempts to play GT:NH.
In reply to Uristqwerty:
I have 2 coders remaking it and we're calling it CraftingGuide: Recrafted. Want me to add you as former author?
In reply to brass_mccrafty:
I plan to remake exactly how it was in 1.2.3 [Yogbox]
1.15.2,please
In reply to shelltoe9898:
just enough items is what you should use for 1.15.2. JEI does not go below 1.8 of minecraft of what I have found
I'd really like to see a 1.12.2 veraion of this also. Apparently there's a 1.10 version knocking around, but as it hasn't been uploaded here, I'm guessing it's a fan continuation.
please update to 1.12.2
In reply to kaasbaas1234567890:
please stop asking for updates
In reply to clonaclox9999:
I don't understand, it's literally just a mod where you press G to view crafting recipies.
In reply to arpad32:
If I may be COMPLETELY honest, Not Enough Items and Just Enough Items are better because they can also show brewing recipes, and also recipies for modded items. Like the countertop from Food Plus.
In reply to clonaclox9999:
Brewing recipes are there, just hidden by default because of how spammy they are next to vanilla's relatively low crafting recipe count. Perhaps it would be better only hiding them when there's no filter set, as a balance between clutter and discoverability. Toggling brewing recipes off and on again in the crafting type list might work; I think there's currently a bug that doesn't show it as disabled initially, but they're there if you know the secret.
For mod support, someone would have to write the integration. Naturally due to its popularity, almost every author includes JEI integration in their own mods.
If CraftTweaker/MineTweaker is used, please show/don't show modified/removed recipes.
add this to 1.12.2 version plssssssssssssssss
I was talking about the EnoughItems mods(like toomanyitems, notenoughitems, justenoughitems, roughlyenoughitems) with my friend and he didnt know about these mods, then he asked if it was like craftguide, then i searched it here on curseforge and discovered i was trying to find this mod when i was like 6, the only time i used this was that time and then i never heard about it after, i love this mod :)
