Welcome fellow squirrels! You have found SquirrelPAK MC12 a tech heavy mod pack with little customization so you can play the mods as they were written. The goal of this PAK is to start out with nothing but your fist and some tree logs then work your way up to the stars though technology. Any major changes to mod config will be listed in the release notes.
You start off with mods like tinkers construct and immersive engineering, while using mods like thermal to fill in the gaps until mid game. We have two main auto storage options (AE2 & Refined) to keep your stuff organized for mid and late game, but have not forgotten about early game storage. For that we have drawers and crates! For your energy needs we have two reactor options. Extreme Reactors for an easier option or for a more authentic reactor that can kill you try out Atomic Science.
To keep your squirrel belly full, this PAK has Pams Harvest, XL Food, and Culinary Construct. However having all this food without a reason to use it well thats no fun. To add some spice to this PAK we have added The Spice of Life so that you need different food.
Once you craft and strap on your adventurers backpack that includes a portable sleeping bag and start walking through the woods or crossing a vast ocean you will notice different color cows, chickens and pigs with the help of Quark and Better Animals Plus! Just careful of the sharks in the ocean and the glowing eyes of the ferrel wolves!
Your end game goals will be getting off planet earth by the ways of the rocket ship with Advanced Rocketry or hit hyperspace and build your starship controlled by an OpenComputers with Warp Drive. Once space bound explore space to mine asteroids or visit other planets.
Space not your thing? You may opt to just create your own realm with RFTools Dimensions. You will want to have that nuclear reactor up and running because you're going to need a lot of power! Oh speaking of dimensions this PAK includes Lost Cities a place to explore and maybe even setup a remote base or move you main base to. For a really crazy place to explore near mid to end game is The Erebus, an underground haven of bugs that will make momma squirrel scream and run out of the room. I am talking mosquitos that will bite your head off, and other scary bugs that unless you are armored up and can see in the dark you might want to stay away. If you do drop in for a visit just don't get bit by a bot fly without some beetle juice on you. You have been warned!
Now don't think that this PAK is just all TECH and no beauty! Oh no, we have added all of the Macaws packs for some awesome looking Roof/Windows/Doors/Bridges/Furniture to make your tech base shine, Biblio Craft, and Blockcraftery too! For those squirrels who just want to spruce up your 9x9 then use Chisel and make the cobble shine! For the really lazy squirrels (like my self) we have included time saving mods like Building Gadgets and MeeCreeps (Thanks DW). Thats not all, included for those who want total control over the block look, CLittle Tiles gives your that and a bag of bits!
Other mods that keep you working and playing under pressure is PneumaticCraft for mid game, and Draconic Evolution for your late game.Last but not least at all are the life improvement mods that are must have for most modded Minecraft payers such as JourneyMap, Mouse Tweaks, The One Probe with TOP Addons, JEI, AppleSkin, Controlling and a few others.
