Another modpack built for the author's individual taste? Sure, why not?
Confident Creation is a 1.16 modpack that builds upon what I play with and streamlines areas of frustration. It doesn't stray far from the gameplay style of vanilla Minecraft. Many of the mods add to the building experience, but other areas have not been neglected.
Some Notable Mods
Create is your only tech mod here, allowing for moving contraptions and structures, among many other great things, while feeling like it could fit perfectly in vanilla Minecraft.
Pam's HarvestCraft 2, combined with Spice of Life: Carrot Edition, gives you a new goal to work towards: more health. Added is Cooking for Blockheads, to make the process bearable. Farming for Blockheads makes obtaining the seeds you need a cinch.
EmbellishCraft is a mod that adds a nice variety of decorative blocks, including new stones and some basic furniture, while Absent by Design adds stairs, slabs, walls, and other such blocks for those vanilla blocks that seem like they should. Fairy Lights adds hanging lights, great for a festival or holiday, as is Skinned Lanterns. Torchmaster lets you keep your builds as dark as you'd like.
A handful of small biome mods, including Autumnity, Bayou Blues, The Endergetic Expansion, and Upgrade Aquatic. Nature's Compass and Explorer's Compass make finding the biomes and structures you need doable. You'll also find that Alex's Mobs adds a variety of new animals and monsters to liven up the world.
Tetra allows you to customize your swords, shields, and tools, granting you more choices to face the world and giving a little more personality to your arsenal. As a little tip, it also helps you find ancient debris.
Optifine Not Included
This modpack was built with the intention of using Optifine with it. The modpack was built and tested without many of the popular performance-enhancing mods. Instead, this modpack was built and tested with Optifine installed.
If you want to use Optifine with this modpack, download Optifine from elsewhere and put it in the mods folder.
Known Issues
Switching Optifine shaders in-game, then rendering a modular item from Tetra in the same session, will crash Minecraft. OFF and (internal) count as shaders for this bug.
