🤔 What is Xal's Welcome Wagon?
Joining a guild and hearing nothing back is a rough start. Welcome Wagon watches for new members and for guildmates logging in, and has a welcome ready for each one — picked from over a hundred built-in lines, or ones you write yourself. When someone joins or comes online, a small glowing icon appears on your screen — hover it to see exactly what it's about to say, and one click puts it in guild chat.
⚡ Key features
- A small alert icon for every join and login — it glows when a welcome is waiting. Hover it to see who it's for and the exact line it will post, left-click to send it, right-click to skip it. It stays small and out of the way, even in a dungeon. If several people arrive at once, a number shows how many are waiting, and an unanswered one clears itself after a few minutes. Drag it wherever you like.
- Resizable alert icons — set the wagon, the welcome mat and the trophy to their own sizes, 50% to 200%, with a test icon so you can see each one. Each icon remembers its own spot, with a reset-to-center button.
- Send with a key — bind "Send next welcome" under Options → Key Bindings and fire welcomes without touching the mouse.
- Optional sound cues — new members, logins and achievements each get their own on/off and their own pick from 8 sounds. Click one to hear it. Off by default.
- Achievement congratulations — optionally congratulate guildmates when they earn an achievement. A gold trophy alert icon sets it apart from a welcome, with 100 lines built in plus your own (
{name}and{achievement}are swapped in). Skip small ones with a minimum points setting, and give it its own sound. Off by default. - 100 welcomes and 100 welcome-backs built in — each pick is random and never the same line twice in a row.
- Write your own — add as many of your own welcome and welcome-back lines as you like, mixed in with the built-in ones. Type
{name}and it's swapped for the member's name. Remove your own lines any time. - Optional welcome whisper — whispers new members your own message automatically after a delay you set. Off by default.
- Buffer so nobody gets greeted twice — set how long to wait before the same person comes up again when they hop off and on.
- "Invite to Guild" on right-click — adds the option to player right-click menus. Only shows if your guild rank can invite, and never for someone already in the guild.
- Minimap button — left-click opens the settings. Hide it in the settings if you'd rather.
- Real settings window — a sidebar with a page for each area and every setting in its own card. No chat commands needed.
