Luredon: Fishing Helper

Luredon makes fishing in World of Warcraft: Forever relaxed: less clicking, more catching, and if you like, nothing between you and the water.

Quick start

Equip your fishing pole, then double right-click on the water. Luredon casts, applies your best lure and turns the splash up so you hear the bite. /ld opens the window, /ld book the fishing book.

Key features

• Double right-click to cast, paused in combat, mounted, swimming and flying.
• Lures: the best lure from your bags goes on first, with a reminder before it runs out.
• Fish without the interface: if you like, Luredon hides the whole interface while your line is out. Your catches show at the top, your cast bar and your whispers, guild and group chat stay. It comes back when you move, a fight starts, someone invites you or you start typing. Alt+Z stays yours.
• Bobber at the pointer: while the mouse is on your bobber, a small bobber sits at the pointer: amber shortly before the line comes in, green for a catch, red when the fish got away.
• Louder splash while the pole is equipped. Your sound settings come back afterwards.
• Fishing book: a logbook of every session with fish per hour, skill and value, rare catches and records; a fish atlas of everything you caught and everything still missing, with where it bites; and every water with the skill it needs and its fish next to Wowhead's share.
• Summary per fishing stretch: casts, fish, getaways, missed bites, skill before and after, value and fish per hour when you take off your pole.
• Zone info: the skill you need so nothing gets away, the fish of the zone and which ones are new to you.
• Gear swap between your fishing and normal set, with fish tracking switched on for you.
• Timers for Forever's fishing camp and the Stranglethorn fishing contest.
• Fish together: fishing totals shared with other Luredon players, numbers only, so you see what others caught in zones you haven't fished yet.
• Auction prices (optional, with Auctionator): what your session is worth at the auction house.
• Nine languages: English, German, French, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Korean and Traditional Chinese.

FAQ

My interface is gone while I fish. That is the option "Hide the interface while fishing". It comes back when you move, and you can switch it off under Options > Casting and lures.

Double right-click does not cast. Equip a fishing pole first. Casting pauses in combat, mounted, swimming, flying and when you click on a window.

Where do the zone skill values come from? From Wowhead's Forever data. Zones without a published value use the skill other Luredon players needed.

No auction prices? They need Auctionator and one scan at the auction house.

Does Luredon change my sound settings? Only while the pole is equipped; afterwards yours come back.
