Guildon: Crafts & Recipes

Guildon: Crafts & Recipes is the craft part of Guildon, for WoW Classic Era and World of Warcraft: Forever. See who in your guild can make what, ask for it with a wish instead of spamming guild chat, and let Crafts & Recipes fill in the letter when you send it.

Everything runs between guild members who have it, over the guild's addon channel. No server, no account, nothing to set up.

Quick start

Install, log in, open your profession windows once. Click the Guildon button at the minimap and pick Crafts & Recipes, or type /gnc. Alone in your guild? /gnc demo shows an example guild on your screen only.

Key features

• Professions of the guild: every member's professions with skill and online status, the best crafters of each profession first.
• Recipe book: all recipes of a profession, grouped by type, with search, level filter and a mark for what the guild knows. The detail shows the reagents (red when you are missing some) and who can craft it, green when they are online. Whisper them or make a wish with one click.
• Wish list: wish for a craft with amount, "I bring the reagents", "I pay for the reagents" or "short of money", a tip and a note, for everyone who can craft it or one crafter. Crafters accept it and mark it crafted and sent; after the trade or the letter it counts as received. Wishes for gathered goods reach the gatherers of the guild.
• Mail and trade help: your open orders at the mailbox and the trade window, goods and letter filled in with one click. Sending and accepting stay with you.
• Shared prices: from Auctionator, Auctioneer or aux, or a short scan of its own, shared with the guild. Profitable crafts as an option.
• And more: guild cooldowns (Transmute, Mooncloth, Salt Shaker), "recipe wanted" with tooltip lines on recipe items, shopping lists, a note when a crafter for your wish comes online, a thank-you counter, "crafted in the guild by" in item tooltips and an export of your professions for the guild website.
• Light on the guild channel: answers come in bundles and recipe lists only as changes, so a big guild stays quiet.
• Nine languages: English, German, French, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Korean and Traditional Chinese.

Part of Guildon

Guildon comes in parts that share one button at the minimap:

• Guildon: Crafts & Recipes (this one): professions, recipes, wishes, mail and trade, prices.
• Guildon: Map & Members: your guildmates on the world map and minimap, a member list with classes and alts, an arrow to a guildmate. It does not need Crafts & Recipes, but with both installed its member tooltips show the professions.

Crafts & Recipes also works on its own.

Coming from Guildon 0.8

At the first start Crafts & Recipes takes over your professions, recipes, wishes and orders, prices, cooldowns and options from Guildon 0.8. Guild members who still have Guildon 0.8 keep seeing your professions and wishes, and you theirs. Members on the 1.0.0 test version should update.

Commands

• /gnc show or hide the window (also with the Guildon button at the minimap)
• /gnc wishes the wish list
• /gnc sync ask the guild for new data now
• /gnc demo example guild (again: off)
• /gnc export your professions as text for the guild website
• /gnc recipes recipes the game showed that the data does not know yet, as text for the authors
• /gnc diag state of the exchange and errors, for bug reports
• /gnc help all commands

FAQ

I see no recipes from my guild. Every crafter opens their profession windows once after installing. Crafts & Recipes then shares them with the guild. /gnc sync asks for new data right away.

Does it trade or send mail on its own? No. It only puts items in and fills in the letter after your click. Accepting the trade and pressing Send is always you.

Where do the prices come from? From your AH addon (Auctionator, Auctioneer or aux) or a short scan of its own, shared with the guild. The newest scan counts.
