DonMap
The map layer of the Don addons (Questdon, Leveldon, Guildon: Map & Members), for WoW Forever and WoW Classic Era, as an addon of its own. You do not need to do anything with it: the CurseForge app installs it together with the addons that use it. Installing by hand? Put the DonMap folder next to the other addons in Interface\AddOns.
What it does
- Pins on the world map and points on the minimap for every Don addon, drawn in one place: Questdon's quests and objectives and its inn, auction house, flight master and bank symbols, and your guildmates from Guildon
- Pins that sit close together are grouped, and they keep out of the way of Questie and GatherMate
- The direction arrow (with the way back to your corpse) and the compass: to a clicked pin, the step of your leveling guide, your tracked quest or a guildmate
- Arrow and compass work the same on WoW Forever and Classic Era
- Without Questdon the arrow has its own options page (
/donmap options) - Light: pins are only drawn again when something changed
Why an addon of its own
Several Don addons draw on the map. With one map layer the pins look alike, do not cover each other, and there is only one arrow on your screen.
Commands

For addon authors
Other addons can register their own points (DonMapAPI.Register) and set the arrow (DonMapAPI.SetArrowTarget). DonMapAPI version 5.
