!Note - if you're updating from 1.7.2 to 1.7.2a none of the stuff stated below is required!
It's highly recommended to reset The Nether & The End with this update since there's alot of new biomes. If you're willing you can reset the Overworld aswell. (All optional!)

A deletion of the 'serverconfig' folder is also highly recommended with this update! It's located inside the /world/ folder.

Always remember to backup your world(s) before updating!

• Changes

  • - There are now 22 new biomes in Oh The Biomes You'll Go, 6 new in the Overworld, 8 new in The Nether & 8 new in The End.
  • - Bigger Reactors has been swapped out to Extreme Reactors 2, so any items/blocks from that mod will be removed on world load.
  • - Added more invalid items to the Loot Bag Blacklist.
  • - Insanium Farmland can now be used in Botany Pots.
  • - Blocks from the mod Quarry Plus can no longer be picked up with Carry On to prevent possible crashes.
  • - Crimson Iron Ore & Ingot can now be used in a Pulverizer from Thermal Series.
  • - The Mining Dimension now contains caves & ores. No more lava lakes etc. (It's recommended to reset this dimension.)
  • - Updated the recipe & texture for the Mining Dimension Teleporter Block.
  • - Lowered Totem drop chances, 1 -> 0.5.
  • - Lowered Oil Lakes Generation chances.
  • - Changed the recipe for the Eternal Stella item.
  • - Re-balanced Raw Plastic from the Rats Mod. (New recipes.)
  • - Randomly generated chests found around the world now contains Loot Bag Pieces instead of the actual full Loot Bag(s).
  • - Blocks from Mekanism & RFTools can no longer be picked up with Carry On to prevent possible crashes.
  • - Some small performance improvements.
  • - Lowered Dragon Caves generation chances.
  • - Tweaked Dragon Roosts generation chances.

    • - Fixed some Ore Chunks from Silent's Mechanisms not being able to be crushed.
    • - Fixed some items in the Silent's Mechanisms Questing-chapter not being obtainable.
    • - Fixed Dirty Uranium Dust from Mekanism having no processing output.
    • - Fixed a recipe conflict between the Jar from Ice and Fire and the Bottle Block from Forbidden & Arcanus.
    • - A crash when using the Twilight Cloak while in the Nether has been fixed.
    • - Fixed/added generation for the following Ores in the Mining Dimension: Copper Ore, Tin Ore, Lead Ore, Silver Ore & Nickel Ore.
    • - Fixed a huge lag spike when new players were joining a world/server.
