~The Zone~ Server Set

This modpack was created for the sole purpose of making it easier for someone (that's you) to install mods to join the Aternos modded multiplayer server in the Discord server ~The Zone~. If you're not in the Discord server and don't have access to the modded Minecraft server, this is still a fun modpack to install.

Many of the mods used are made to enhance the map's generation by increasing the size and quality of certain structures (strongholds, witch huts, and nether fortresses to name a few) and by adding new biomes to explore in the world. Some also add or change mobs within the game, such as adding rats that you can make your pets or increasing the types of axolotls present within the world. However, these mods are still subject to change in various ways, from replacing some to removing others and adding many more.

The player-based mods is where it gets more interesting, as now anyone can craft a shield from wood, stone, gold, or diamond. This makes surviving into the late game with a shield in hand much easier to accomplish despite how easy it was before. With shields come swords, and dual wielding is on the menu. Being able to attack with two swords at once makes combat go much quicker and makes it easier to escape a swarm alive. Aside from combat, proximity voice chat with remastered sound physics makes the game feel more realistic and adds a slight challenge to the game when not using text chat, both of which are made better by having a smartphone in your hand thanks to EyeMod. Chopping down trees is much quicker now as well, though it will drain your axe quickly so remember to make spares.

Finally, there's the custom portals. All there is to know about this one is if you create a portal, you need to create another one with the same materials for it to work. Think of it like fast transportation from one place to another, even if the portals are right next to each other.
