The Flamily

This is a modpack originally created for EarthToBre's Minecraft server.

As stated in the summary, this modpack was made mostly to foster a Vanilla+ experience, and thus the mods chosen are of the quality of life, world generation, sever utility, and player transportation sort, with two map centric mods thrown in as well.

Here are the mods included, as well as their uses/effects:

Additional Structures (Fabric/Quilt) - As the name implies, this adds ~155 new, small and medium structures to Minecraft.

Appleskin - This mod displays information about food which is normally hidden, such as how much of the hunger bar it will refill, in addition to the saturation per food item.

BCLib - This is a library mod for BetterEnd and BetterNether, both of which are included as well.

BetterEnd - This mod overhauls the End dimension by adding new biomes, mobs, resources, music, and mechanics.

BetterNether - This mod is similar to the above, but instead overhauls the Nether dimension.

Clumps - This mod, as the name implies, clumps XP orbs together to reduce lag on servers, in addition to making them disappear once collected, rather than obscuring a user's vision.

Fabric API - This is the core library for a few of the mods on here, and thus is needed to run those mods.

Fabric Waystones - This mod allows users to create waystones, which can be used to teleport across vast distances.

GeckoLib - This mod is an animation engine for Minecraft mods, with support for complex 3D keyframe-based animations, 30+ easings, concurrent animation support, sound and particle keyframes, event keyframes, and more.

Geode+ - As the name may imply, this mod adds geodes to various biomes and dimensions in Minecraft.

Jade 🔍 - This mod identifies whatever item a user's cursor is on, in addition to what tool is needed to break it, as well as a loading bar which shows how long it takes to break.

Just Enough Items (JEI) - This mod makes it incredibly easy to find and keep track of recipes in Minecraft, even modded, which means less time asking Google how to build this or that, and more time spent in-game.

Lovely Snails - This mod adds snails to Minecraft, which are tamable with mushrooms, and can even grow large enough to be ridden for transport.

Mouse Tweaks - As the name implies, this mod adds more functionality to how the mouse is used for item management.

Nature's Compass - This mod adds the titular Nature's Compass, which can be used to find any biome a player desires, in addition to the giving said player the direction and distance to the chosen biome.

oωo (owo-lib) - This is a general utility, GUI, and config library for Fabric.

Resourceful Config - This is a mod that allows for developers to make crossplatform configs.

Terralith - This mod adds nearly one hundred biomes to Minecraft.

Xaero's Minimap - This adds a minimap to the game, as the name implies.

Xaero's World Map - This mod adds a fullscreen map to Minecraft, which works together with the above minimap.


Note: While I fully intended for this modpack to be used on the server, I was unable to ensure it functioned on the server, and thus I instead opted to go for an already existing modpack, Cottage Witch: Recast.
