// MOVEMENT - A parkour and exploration-themed modpack for 1.15.2

👉 BIG JUMP ENERGY
👉 THE WHOLE WORLD IS YOUR PARKOUR MAP
👉 HORSES SUCK SO I MADE THIS

Who says enjoyable player movement has to be reserved for late-game?

// Core Features

‣ Wall-Jump! gives the modpack its main flavor by allowing you to parkour/mantle without taking fall damage

‣ Ma Essentials
 uses kits to start all worlds with four enchanted boots, an elytra, a hook launcher and a biome compass
     Traceurs Customs // Direct from Aperture Science, enchanted with Multi-Jump for easy mantling
     Cloud Customs // Your "wings without actual wings", enchanted with Hops for insane jumping and gliding
     Divers Customs // Fast on land and even faster underwater, enchanted with Depth Strider and Nimble to help you swim with or against the current
     Miners Customs // Complimentary Speed and Step-Assist, enchanted with Frost and Blazing Walker to help traverse the underground with ease

     Yeet Stick // It's a hook launcher that launches hooks (it's a lot more fun than this description would suggest)

     Alps Locator // It's natures compass but renamed because the Alps biome is cool (it's exactly what the description suggests)
These can be obtained at any time using /kit movement

‣ Curious Elytra gives your elytra a dedicated backpack slot to allow for use alongside any chestplate, and a keybind to toggle flight on/off

‣ Better Sprinting allows for sprinting in any direction, and an option to hold or toggle your sprinting

‣ GoProne adds two keybinds to go prone anywhere at any time, either by hold or toggle

‣ Elenai Dodge (a new addition in v1.3!) allows you to air strafe in any direction by clicking your middle mouse button while holding W,A,S or D

‣ Advanced Skin Customization renders a paper doll in the top left corner of your client so you always have a view of how you're moving

‣ The Lost Cities naturally generates tall and detailed buildings throughout the world, helping you take advantage of your Spider Steve-like abilities
A custom profile created for the modpack called !movement can be found in the lost cities presets

‣ Biomes O' Plenty and Oh The Biomes You'll Go's biome weights have been configured specifically to offer only the biomes that I feel fit best with the theme of this modpack
To reset my poor choices to BOP's default values, delete biome_weights.json found in /config/biomesoplenty and load the modpack again. For BYG, the steps are the same under its respective names.

// Other Mods

FULL MOD LIST FOR LATEST VERSION 👉 here

Hey there's other mods in this thing that aren't just about moving and foot stuff. Keeping the pack visually clean and easy to understand is a huge thing for me, so I won't be dumping in every good mod I can find. Think like, I don't want to add a mod that has a ton more inventory "slots" because I like the elytra having a single, dedicated backpack slot

1.16's full release will bring a whole new Movement version 2.0, with separate mods and updates from 1.15.2

// Custom World Download

Thanks to the wonderful builders over at @spark_squared, the client download includes (as of v1.3) an introductory world with a beautifully built custom spawn in an Immersive Portals dimension that hovers above the overworld. Just jump into the void to begin your adventure!

For simplicity, I no longer offer a pre-generated world download as an option. The file was around 1GB in size and was too much of a hassle to include on Curseforge. Now, the included one is only 50MB and everyone gets to play it :)

// System Requirements

For world generation with Biomes O' Plenty and The Lost Cities (!movement preset), 6GB of RAM is minimum, 8GB of RAM is recommended
For world generation with only Biomes O' Plenty, 4GB of RAM is recommended
For vanilla world generation only, 3GB of RAM is recommended

You could get away with less RAM than what I'm recommending, but this is under the assumption that you'll be travelling quickly while generating new chunks
