Mire 2077 — v2.0

Before You Update — Back Up Your Instance

Before switching to v2.0, it's worth making a quick backup of your current instance folder — just in case you want to recover keybinds, options, or JourneyMap data afterward.

The default instance path is usually:

C:\Users\YourName\curseforge\minecraft\Instances\Mire 2077\

Steps:

  1. Close Minecraft and CurseForge completely
  2. Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Users\YourName\curseforge\minecraft\Instances\
  3. Right-click the Mire 2077 folder → Copy
  4. Create a folder on your Desktop called Minecraft Backups (or wherever you like)
  5. Paste the copy there — rename it something like Mire 2077 - pre-v2.0 backup

Then you're good to update. If anything feels off afterward, the backup is there to grab individual files from.

Mods Added

  • AdoraBuild: Structures — 100+ hand-crafted biome-specific structures across all three dimensions, with new structure-discovery advancements
  • Better Advancements — full-screen advancement tree (press L); actually lets you see your progress
  • Better Animations Collection — reworked vanilla mob animations; purely visual, client-side
  • Block Runner — passive speed boost on dirt paths; build trail networks to move faster between points
  • Do a Barrel Roll — elytra flight with real pitch, yaw, and roll; your model visually banks for other players with the mod
  • Dungeons and Taverns — major structure mod: taverns, crypts, citadels, End Castle, and more; unique loot includes 12 exclusive enchantments (Wax Wings, Gravity, Aerial's Bane, etc.)
  • Easy Magic — enchanting table holds your item and lapis between sessions; reroll offered enchantments for a small lapis + XP cost
  • Emotecraft — emote wheel (default: B) with player animations; syncs to others who have the mod
  • Friends & Foes — mob vote losers and forgotten mobs added vanilla-style: Crab, Glare, Moobloom, Copper Golem, Iceologer, Illusioner, Wildfire, and more
  • Horse Expert — craft a monocle to see a horse or llama's hidden speed, jump, and health stats before taming
  • Illager Invasion — 11 new illager types with unique combat roles, 5 new structures, and an Imbuing Table that pushes enchantments past their normal cap using Hallowed Gems; some illagers join village raids
  • Lio's Overhauled Villages — redesigned vanilla village buildings with more detail and variety
  • Lios Spiral Tower Villages — tall spiral towers as standalone loot structures; 40+ variants, each floor hand-tuned
  • Moog's Bountiful Structures — ~150 structures (ruins, towers, campsites) designed for Biomes O' Plenty biomes
  • More Chest Variants — craftable chests in every wood type with matching textures
  • More Villagers — new villager professions with unique workstations; place their workstation blocks in a village to unlock new trades
  • Repurposed Structures — biome-themed variants of every vanilla structure (Birch Villages, Jungle Fortresses, Nether Pyramids, etc.); world gen only, no new blocks or mobs
  • Right Click Harvest — right-click mature crops with a hoe to harvest and auto-replant; Fortune on the hoe applies
  • Sooty Chimneys — craftable chimney blocks that accumulate soot over time; scrape with an axe for a chance at Black Dye
  • Thief — village crime and reputation system; villagers witness crimes (theft, chest-opening, livestock harm) and reputation drops until golems turn hostile
  • Tom's Simple Storage — storage network via Inventory Connectors and a Terminal; search all connected chests from one block, no power required (replaces Refined Storage)
  • Trading Post — one block that shows every nearby villager's trades in a single interface
  • Underground Village, Stoneholm — full underground villages in cavern chambers; tradeable villagers, lootable rooms, repurposable as a base
  • Voice Chat — proximity voice chat; players nearby hear you in-game. New to the pack — disable in mod settings if unstable; hide the HUD icon under Voice Chat → HUD settings
  • XP Tome — stores up to 30 levels of XP in a book; right-click to deposit or withdraw

Mods Removed

  • Refined Storage — replaced by Tom's Simple Storage; no power, simpler setup

Balance Changes

  • Artifacts are harder to find in chests — they're powerful; they should feel earned. They were a bit too common at first.
  • Sleep threshold lowered — fewer players need to be in bed to skip the night. 50%.

Something is wrong with the mobs. A small number of them — very few — are coming back larger. Wrong. Treat them accordingly.
