- Architectury API (Fabric/Forge/NeoForge) (by shedaniel) - Required mod for functionality of other mods.
- Mekanism Generators (by bradyaidanc) - Adds more generators for the Mekanism Mod.
- Sophisticated Backpacks (by P3pp3rF1y) - Adds customizable and highly effective backpacks to the game! These backpacks are capable of storing thousands of items, making travel and exploration easier!
- Mekanism Tools (by bradyaidanc) - Adds tools and armor for items from the Mekanism Mod
- Mekanism (by bradyaidanc) - Adds many machines that are used for things like automation. This is one of the most popular tech mods for Minecraft. It uses electric power.
- Framework (by MrCrayfish) - Required mod for functionality of other mods.
- Dungeons Plus (by ModdingLegacy) - Adds more dungeons to the game as well as increasing the quality of vanilla dungeons.
- Blue Skies (by ModdingLegacy) - Adds two new dimensions with many bosses and new ore types with new types of wood, tool and armor, and many biomes.
- Sophisticated Core (by P3pp3rF1y) - Required mod for functionality of other mods.
- AutoRegLib (by Vazkii) - Required mod for functionality of other mods.
- JourneyMap (by techbrew) - Adds a mini map and world map to the game with waypoints included!

- Cloth Config API (Fabric/Forge/NeoForge) (by shedaniel) - Required mod for functionality of other mods.

- Just Enough Items (JEI) (by mezz) - Everyone knows what JEI is, but if you don't, it basically adds a list of every item in your game, vanilla and modded, and tells you crafting recipes and uses for those items. Arguably the most popular and essential mod for any Minecraft Modpack.
- Create Crafts & Additions (by MRHminer) - Adds new items from the Create Mod.
- FramedBlocks (by XFactHD) - Adds new blocks called "Framed Blocks" that can be used for more customizability or hidden bases (ex. a cobblestone trapdoor that blends in with your house's cobblestone floor or rooves that can be made with the sloped blocks the mod adds)
- MrCrayfish's Gun Mod (by MrCrayfish) - Adds craftable and shootable guns and ammo.
- CorgiLib (by Corgi_Taco) - Required mod for functionality of other mods.
- Oh The Biomes You'll Go (by AOCAWOL) - Adds many new biomes to the game in The Overworld, The Nether, and The End.
- Alex's Mobs (by sbom_xela) - Adds many new mobs to the game, such as Elephants.
- Create (by simibubi)- Adds a steampunk like mod that allows for automation and efficiency. Arguably Minecraft's most popular tech mods. It uses rotational power.
- Structure Gel API (by ModdingLegacy) - Required mod for functionality of other mods.
- Biomes O' Plenty (by Forstride) - Adds many new biomes in The Overworld, The Nether, and The End. Very similar to Oh The Biomes You'll Go.
- Epic Knights: Shields, Armor and Weapons [Fabric & Forge] (by magistu_) - Adds many new weapons, armor, and shields to the game (as well as a very easy recipe for steel, something that is useful for Mekanism)
- Quark (by Vazkii) - Adds many small things to the game, such as new decorative blocks.
- Security Craft (by Geforce132) - Adds security features for your base, such as password-locked chests.
- Citadel (by sbom_xela) - Required mod for functionality of other mods.
