In this modpack you will have the opportunity to master the elements. No, I don't mean magically - I mean chemically, with Alchemistry. Applied Energistics2 is included as the primary obligatory storage mod. Not to be confused as a magic mod, this pack also has Botania. If you aren't therapeutically soothed by the monotony of mining, this pack also offers the alternative of Environmental Tech. You can even create your own customized mob dungeons with Soulus.

Explore the new additions to the world around you. New flowers, new mushrooms, new plants, garden stuff, ocean additions and more.

Hostiles won't be your traditional minecraft experience anymore. Soulus removes most vanilla hostile mob spawning, in favor of adding fossils to the world. Passive Aggression adds new mechanics to mobs that adds a different kind of challenge and encourages the player to befriend the wildlife. Blocklings are rare friends to be found and tamed rarely in the world. While you are out exploring you might see some Butterflys, it might be worthwhile to bring a butterfly net in case you want to display them at home. Exotic Birds adds all sorts of new wildlife to the world, along with neat hatching mechanics for nests if you steal their eggs. Rats adds adorable little friends to the world that definitely won't give you the plague. Probably.

Treasure2 adds not only interesting loot to the world, but also requires you to find keys to access its loots. If they're dead but undead, does stealing from them make you a thief or an archaeologist? Decide for yourself with Pirates!

Every good scientist knows that no base is complete if you can't fully customize it. You will have plenty of customization options with mods like ArchitectureCraft, Chisel, BiblioCraft and more! You can even choose to base out of a moving ship with DaVinci's Vessels.

Still providing a slight challenge, Food Funk gives food-related items a spoil timer (usually 7 days, sometimes longer). While you can store them in the fridge from Cooking for Blockheads, you can also turn that rotten food into nutrients for your plants with Canny Composter.

You'll notice your world looks a little different with Better Foliage. Better Animal Models gives your traditional Minecraft mobs a more modern look. Better Diving provides players with a total overhaul to the vanilla swimming mechanics and gives swimming a more comfortable feel. If traveling the lands on horseback while you forage for mushrooms is more your style, HorseTweaks allows for a more customized horseback experience and MushroomQuest adds a ton of new collectible (and edible) mushrooms with varying rarity. Who doesn't love the idea of going around collecting new things to stick in your mouth and see what happens? I sure do.

There are a variety of mods that allow you to just relax and enjoy the world, including The Camera Mod and AstikorCarts. Joy of Painting allows you to create unique works of art from the comfort of your own base. Hardcore Darkness, Stellar Sky, and Illuminations set the scene for a beautiful ambient experience. Weather provides a unique experience, including the occasional tornado. (Block griefing disabled by default.)

There isn't a lot in this pack that's geared towards combat, but if you choose to venture into the new realms of AbyssalCraft, you're probably going to want to be prepared for a fight. Totem Essentials, Quality Tools, Switchbow, and Tetra all set the stage for any warfare you may decide to initiate.
