# Pixel Perfect Align - TBC Anniversary Fan Fix

**An unofficial fan fix of MooreaTV's Pixel Perfect Align for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary (2.5.6).**

Need to line up your action bars, unit frames, chat windows, or other UI elements precisely? Pixel Perfect Align displays a pixel-aligned grid and measuring tools. This release brings the original v1.14.07 code forward for the TBC Anniversary client while preserving its familiar controls and look.

## What this fan fix addresses

- **Startup Lua error:** Uses `C_AddOns.GetAddOnMetadata` on the modern client (with a fallback for older APIs). This also prevents a cascading initialization/localization error.
- **Options panel:** Uses the newer Settings API where available and keeps the older Interface Options fallback.
- **Grid visible on login:** Grid now begins **hidden every login/reload**, regardless of the old saved startup option. It appears only when you turn it on.
- **TBC Anniversary support:** Ships a TBC-specific TOC with interface **20506** for client **2.5.6**.

- Simple chat commands such as `/ppa toggle`, `/ppa coord` and `/ppa config`

## Installation and compatibility

This is a **drop-in replacement**, not a companion addon. Uninstall the official Pixel Perfect Align folder first and install this fan fix instead; both versions use the same `PixelPerfectAlign` folder, commands, and saved-variable name. Do not delete SavedVariables when uninstalling.

Install to `World of Warcraft/_anniversary_/Interface/AddOns/PixelPerfectAlign/`. Start the game, run `/ppa` for a list of commands, and use `/ppa toggle` to show or hide the grid.

**Supported:** TBC Anniversary / Classic TBC **2.5.6**. Other WoW flavors are not claimed as supported by this fan fix.
